The phone app suggested for this cam did not complete the setup, stuck on making you watch a video that won't download. Using AI I tried several other apps purported to work with this cam and none of them worked. This cam has all the features I wanted at a great price, but after 3 days trying to get it to work I gave up and returned it. Read more
I am shocked at how well this item actually works. You have to sign up for an account to set it up, but you do not need to purchase anything to use the camera effectively. Battery life is very long, image good, and it is super flexible. It offers audio, video, night vision, motion detection and notifications. If you want this item to not communicate with the outside world, it can be configured with your local WiFi only. Read more
I really wanted this camera to work out, as it has all the features I have been looking for - compactness, stealthiness, flexible mounting options, onboard data storage, subscription-free remote access, reliable power source (that doubles as a mounting option), etc. The product is nicely put together and packaged, and It does seem to work for more than half of the users, judging by the feedback so far, but I belong to the unfortunate minority who have trouble connecting to it. I am probably doing something wrong, but I have also had devices of this type that required very little work on my part to set up, where every step was intuitive, and every click produced the exact result expected. Not so here. First, scanning the QR-code in the user booklet took me to a page where I should have been able to download the app, but where instead none of the links worked, other than the toggle for switching between languages. Searching for the app by name through the App Store did allow me to download and install the app. After clicking "allow" to many of the connection requests by the app, and signing up for a user account inside the app, I was not able to get past the page where the app is supposed to detect the camera. Switching the camera on and off, and pressing the reset button in various combinations made no difference in the end. I may go back and try to make the camera work again for the third time in as many weeks, but until a light bulb goes off in my head, which might never happen if history is something to go by, I don't expect the result to change. As for the USB gooseneck mount, it can hold the camera sideways or in the drooped position, but not proudly erect from the side of a laptop as seen in the listing photo. I am only subtracting two stars, because I fault the vendor for not doing more to make the product user-friendly, as I still cannot say with certainty that the product is defective. Read more

I could never get this to work in the first place. I spent a significant amount of time with the instructions, trying different things, etc but no go. The most I got was the blue charging light to turn on. Otherwise I think it would have been awesome- I love the built-in magnet for mounting etc but even with my technical aptitude and several new TF cards of various sizes I was unable to get it to do anything. This little mini wireless camera turned out to be a fantastic find. It’s impressively tiny — small enough to fit in the palm of your hand — yet it packs in a lot of useful features. The compact size makes it incredibly versatile for home security, monitoring pets, or keeping an eye on a room while you’re away. Despite its small size, the video quality is surprisingly clear, both during the day and at night. It comes with two different mounts — one magnetic, which easily sticks to metal surfaces for quick placement, and another that uses a flexible USB plug-in mount. The USB option is genius because you can bend and aim the camera exactly where you need it, whether it’s plugged into a wall adapter, power bank, or even a laptop. This makes it simple to move around without needing screws or extra hardware. Charging is fast and efficient, and once it’s fully charged, the battery lasts for days — far longer than I expected for such a small device. That makes it reliable for longer-term use without constant recharging. To record video, you’ll need a micro SD card, which slots right in and works seamlessly. Setup was quick and the wireless connection stayed stable the entire time. This mini wireless camera delivers excellent performance in a very discreet and portable package. Between the long battery life, multiple mounting options, and easy setup, it’s a great value for anyone needing a simple yet effective security or monitoring solution. For its size and price, it definitely exceeds expectations — a smart little camera that does exactly what it promises, and does it well. Read more
First off, why they don't mention the app you need in the listing I don't know. It's HIDVCAM. Without that app you can't even set the camera up. I was able to set everything up and it appeared to work but it was only working while the app was running and turned on. When I closed the app, it no longer sent motion alarms and wasn't even taking pictures or videos. Taking the card out and checking on the computer I found some pictures/videos but not what it should have taken. Putting the card back in the camera, I could connect and see the camera but it didn't save any more pictures or videos and no motion notifications even with the app running. The magnet is too weak to hold it on a metal surface. Basically this is useless in my opinion. Maybe I'm missing something or you need to pay for cloud storage but it isn't worth messing with any more. I've spent a couple days trying to get this to work without any luck. Read more
