Bad Remote, Good Product
The remote is hard to use and needs to be pointed directly at the unit. Otherwise, this is fine and as expected. A small, cheap DVD player to have available. Read more
Plays every disc and has nice features
This player worked great with every DVD that I tried so far. Region 1, Region 2, Region 4, Region 0, even “copy-protected” Region 1 (which does not always play well on a Region-free/All-region player). Even plays DVD-R and DVD-RW discs that were formatted movie-style. Like most of the older DVD players (but not many Blue Ray players for some reason), it includes an A-B repeat option to replay a section, as well as title repeat, chapter repeat, and slow play. It does not have a zoom image option, but that’s less important these days. It seems there are a new wave of DVD players coming out that are all-region and fully featured, for a pretty good price. I got this one on sale for around $30 which is a great value. Or will be, if it lasts me longer than a year. One can only hope. Read more

Using it for audio CDs; works great
