This is a handy little security camera for places where you might not have easily accessible power and internet. The mounting base is magnetic out of the box so you can put it on a steel door frame or the wall of a storage unit, etc. The camera has a limit of 128GB mSD cards according to the documentation, but that would still be plenty for a lot of video storage. The camera works by taking constant 5-minute video clips (with audio, keep that in mind for places that don't allow audio on security cameras), one after the other, and it will start overwriting the oldest clips if the card gets full. (videos are saved in dated folders each day) It will also activate on motion, and it'll save a separate clip if something moves into its range of view. So if you use this offline and check your card it's easy to tell when something happened because you'll have one or a few short clips in between the same-size 5min files. The camera works fine offline if you just want to set it up then retrieve the card occasionally or if you have an issue you need to check on. I am not a fan of being required to create an account and use a specific app to manage a device, I wasn't able to get this camera added to my existing Smart Life app and I didn't care to create yet another account so I haven't tried the network settings or streaming. But it does do that too. Video quality is a little grainy, and it has trouble focusing if something else is right in front of the camera so it's best installed away from other objects. It also has trouble figuring out light levels and adjusting for them. But overall, if you use this to watch over an area you'll be able to see who comes and goes. Read more

The camera delivers excellent picture quality with its 2K resolution, offering clear and detailed images. The app is user-friendly and straightforward to navigate. The long-lasting battery is a huge plus, but for continuous use, I’d recommend connecting it to permanent power. Local storage for offline recording. Cons: The camera requires a subscription for cloud storage, which might not suit everyone. It adds another app to manage a camera, which can feel redundant if you already have multiple security devices. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support third-party integrations like RSTP streams, so I couldn’t configure it with Home Assistant. Final Thoughts: This is a good-quality camera with the bonus of a battery, making it versatile for different scenarios. However, its lack of third-party integration capabilities limits its usability for more advanced setups. Still, if you’re looking for a standalone solution, this is a great option. Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the caveat that it’s best for standalone use rather than integrated smart home systems. Read more
