My Experience This is a cute little novelty mini kalimba. It does work and produces sound when played, but it is not very loud, which makes sense given its small size. Because of that, it is probably best suited for kids or as a small handheld instrument you can keep with you for fun rather than something you would use for serious playing. The lanyard string does not come attached and needs to be put on manually. The product photo also shows six beads on the cord, but mine only came with the two adjustable beads used to change the length of the string. Aside from that, the instrument itself works fine and is entertaining to play with. ⸻ 5.
