The AB-eleven Mini Skirt with shorts has far exceeded my expectations. I got it in brown, and I’m glad I did! It is much more “mini” than I thought it would be, so red or another bright color would be a bit too “street walker” on ME. I’m in my late thirties…enough said lol. I LOVE the brown because it’s neutral and can be downplayed, while still being unbelievably sexy. The fabric is super soft. It is very stretchy; and doesn’t restrict my movements when I’m active…PLUS I will be able to wear it if/when my weight fluctuates. It fits well, and is true to size. It has a much higher waistline than what is shown in the photos. Typical Yoga pant height, which I prefer. (Yet the photos show it below the naval) The elastic band around the top is nice and thick, so there is no visible “bulging” above or below. In fact, there are literally ZERO lines, whatsoever; giving you a seamless profile. The shorts are itty bitty, boy shorts type shorts, and the skirt sits just a hair below the shorts. I have a pretty round, prominent backside, so it is quite revealing on me…just be aware when you are ordering it, if you happen to also be “blessed” in that way, this skirt will sit much much higher than it does for everyone else. In my experience skirts that have the built in shorts are primarily fashion not function - NOT these! In the past whenever I did anything active, while wearing skirt/shorts combos (even walking at a decent pace) I wound up constantly needing to adjust it, pull on it, straighten it, etc. I wore this one during my yoga routine and had no issues whatsoever. It’s not practical and I don’t plan to wear a skirt to do yoga. I simply wanted to thoroughly test it before writing this review. The fabric is so smooth, it stretched and moved like a second skin. I had no issues with friction, no bunching, or misalignment between the skirt and the shorts. They didn’t lose their shape or overstretch either. I hand wash and hang dry all of my clothes with highly elastic fabrics, so I can’t comment on if/how they held up with machine washing. The color didn’t bleed nor fade. I have a lot of black basic bike shorts, mini skirts and skorts so I’m trying to expand my color palette when it comes to basics I wear all the time to layer with more vibrant pieces. This red little mini skort is absolutely divine. It’s stretchy and soft and the attached shorts provide really good coverage. Sometimes the shorts underneath are super short and cheeky but these actually have some length to them for added coverage. Of course while this is good for me, someone else might not like it because it means the shorts might peek out from under the skirt on occasion. They’re definitely not meant to but could happen if they’re pulled down all the way and the skirt rides up a little. Just something to keep in mind if you want the full skirt illusion. I think these run true to size with a lot of stretchy, so maybe even a little small but it gives that bodycon tight look. For reference I am 5’10, size 8/10 and order medium or large depending on the piece and fit I’m going for. I ordered a large in this and it fits like a glove. The red is such a gorgeous color. Shows a little orangey in the photos but it’s a true vibrant, hot red. Overall I highly recommend this as a perfect basic skort to wear with literally anything. You can dress it up with a lacy/leopard cami and heels or down with a graphic tee and combat boots. Love all the possibilities with comfy under layers like this. Read more

Runs true to size -- and not "vanity" sized up like everything has been since the pandemic. An XS has a 24" waist unstretched, but here's the thing - I am not a XS. I have a 28" waist. I ordered this size because seems like post-pandemic, everything got sized up for America's expanding waist, and now I'm an "S" or "XS" again, even though I'm actually a lot bigger than I've ever been before. Go figure. When I first pulled it out of the package, I didn't think I was going to be able to get in this skirt, but I did, and it's actually comfortable. Why? Because it's elastic in a "huggy/holdy" sort of way, instead of a ridged cutting sort of way. If you know, you know. Also it's an actual micro-mini, which is great. It's hard to find mini skirts that are short enough for short folks. I'm 5'5" and this ends right under my butt (so it's a good thing it has built in shorts) - love that. I feel like this might make a good full-coverage bathing bottom. Comfortable and well made. No wonky seams. No hanging threads. No plasticy sheen. Recommend. Read more

The fabric was nice and soft, and it was comfortable, but the shorts were pretty much the same length as the skirt. This made keeping the shorts hidden near impossible. I like the concept, but the design needs shorter shorts. Read more
