I have had several of these mini cams over the last several years, and I must say, “It doesn’t matter if the cam is the best in the world, if it is accompanied by a ridiculously nonfunctional app. There are many features on the app that don’t function AT ALL!!!! There is no way to extract the videos that are recorded in the cams internal memory. They can only be watched when you are logged onto the app, and even then none of the controls, other than Pause and play buttons, function. UNBELIEVABLY FRUSTRATING!!!!! If recordings are on a SD card, you must remove the card and insert it into your computer before you can do anything with it. (ie. Viewing, editing). I have written two reviews in the App Store, scathing reviews, not about the cams, but the app this company paired them with. Would I recommend the cams? Absolutely!!!! But, DO NOT purchase them from OVEHEL. If I could use the app that controlled my previous set of cams, I would, but neither it, nor any other camera app I tried, will pair with these cams. Never again will I purchase anything with the OVEHEL name. I really don’t understand how the techs who created this app could have ever thought it was worthy of distribution. PATHETIC!!!! Read more

Holy! The absolute best thing I have ever purchased. Totally worth it. I love the motion detection. And the ability to set how high the sensor detects. I get notified when it detects motion and I absolutely LOVE it. I can be away from home and still see what's going on outside my door and can charge it or ha e it plugged it. The media could not be loaded. The camera came quickly. The packaging was great. Then everything fell through. The camera over heated within minutes. I put it in my car to record because we just recently had a string of break ins in the neighborhood. After only 10 minutes the footage became too grainy to see. Even in color it was terrible. Before the camera overheated the footage was discolored but I just needed a face so that didnt bother me. Not only was the footage sub par through the wifi, but even straight from the micro SD card (which is a high speed, high capacity card) the footage was garbage. Connecting to the wifi was very easy, as was the whole setup... but it wouldn't stay connected for more than 20 minutes at a time. I know it's not the internet speed (over 100mps with wifi extenders). Aside from that, I moved the camera inside into the same room with the router... no dice there either as it refused to stay connected. The battery lasts all of 20 minutes with a half charge. I have no clue how long it lasts from a full charge as it wouldnt charge past half. It stays on if plugged in... however it overheats by that point. I've attached some pictures and videos. When I went to play the footage back, most of the files were corrupt. The camera itself also featured a plethora of dead pixels. All of this is straight of of the box. Setup was not as easy as other cameras available. Also you HAVE to connect using the 2.4 ghz band of your WiFi. Make sure you talk to your internet service provider (ISP) to ensure your WiFi has that enabled, as most routers are configured only for the 5 ghz band. The splitting is easy to do, just call the ISP customer service rep, tell them you have devices that require the 2.4 ghz band and they’ll get it done in a matters of minutes. Read more

Good little camera. Bought to keep an eye on my teenagers while away from the house. Constant fighting and finger pointing put to an end. The app is easy to use and instructions were pretty simple. Much easier to use than mini cameras I’ve previously purchased. Picture both day and night are surprisingly clear and audio is perfect. Read more

Took over 2 hours to get it to connect and then it would not connect to network. Will not record to card. Indicator lights do not work properly, and no support. When it connected via AP video was acceptable. Find another camera and skip this one. Read more
