This mat measures just under 16" x 24". It is non-slip on both sides with the cute yoga cat pattern on the one side. We use it to add extra padding to our yoga mat as well as on its own for mini-yoga sessions on the carpet here and there. Well, I don't know who dangled this adorable SooDbrea Mini Yoga Mat with Playful Cat Design in my recommendations list, but clearly they got my number. I love my cats and I love my yoga, so this was a no brainer in the style department. As for functionality, I was looking for a small mat to add that extra little bit of welcome comfort for kneeling poses. This mat is just the ticket when layered over my already dense Manduka Pro yoga mat. It also adds a bit more grip and cush in the hands for down dog and arm balances. The mat came neatly packaged to avoid damage. It looks exactly as pictured and the dimensions are accurate. It is roughly standard yoga mat width, though a tad narrower than my wider than average mat+rug setup. It is slim, lightweight and easy to move around. This would pack well either flat or rolled, and comes with a handly little velcro tie if needed. There was no icky smell on arrival, the design is colorfast with use, and it lays flat. I got this mini yoga mat mainly for the cute cat design and it honestly makes me smile every time I use it! Should be advertised for an infant. This "yoga" mat is way to small for my 4 year old granddaughter. But maybe if you have a baby that you just want to lay on it, then it would work. But should not be advertised as yoga mat. Read more

This mat is both cute and lightweight. It's slightly thicker than my regular yoga mat, which provides better knee support. The surface feels soft and comfortable, and I noticed less pressure on my palms during downward dog compared to my old mat. It's also slip-proof. I haven't used it intensely enough to sweat, so I can't speak to its waterproof capabilities.
