REVIEW: 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub, Minisopuru USB Hub for Laptop with 1.2ft Extended Cable (Charging Not Supported), USB Multiport Adapter for Flash Drive, HDD, Console, XPS, Camera, Keyboard, Printer, Mouse, etc. For those wanting a small, four port USB-A hub, this is it. It was actually hard to find a hub that just accepted USB-A devices. Most hubs have a host of other peripherals that can be plugged in. I wanted a simple, USB-A hub only and was very happy when I ran across this one. The cable is 1.2 inches in length and should be able to connect to most any laptop or tablet. There may be some difficulty connecting to a desktop computer, depending on where the location is and where the owner wants it to be. I have mine on top of my computer and simply ran the cable behind and plugged it in. I have to bend over and scoot my chair out a bit to access it though. This 3.0 hub transfers data at 5Gbps, which is 10X faster than the older 2.0 model. It is not the fastest around but still zips right along. There are hubs that will transfer at twice this rate but can cost much more as well. Depending on what type and how much data is being transferred, it may not even be noticed. Read more

I needed additional USB slots for my super slim HP laptop with Windows OS when I'm not docked at my desk. I wanted one with a longer cord it's not sitting right up against the side of my laptop where I'm using them mouse. This one fits the bill and it works as expected. No issues there. But it feels quite light and hollow (flimsy) that I can't really give it a better review. If I were buying in person and got to feel it first, I might not have picked this one. But it does work so I can't say it's bad either. 3.5 Stars. Read more

I got this USB 3.0 hub because all of my USB 3.0 ports are on the back of my desktop. It is pretty inconvenient. Hi plugged it into one of the rear ports. I did two tests on the hub. The first was where I inserted a USB 3.0 thumb drive into each of the four ports of the hub. All four ports had no problem being recognized by my computer and showing everything on the thumb drive. The next test I did was to plug the thumb drive into one of my computers USB 3.0 ports and transferred a medium size file to my desktop. I timed that and then I plug the hub into the same USB port on my computer and then plugged in the thumb drive to a port on the hub. I again downloaded the same file to the desktop. My timed difference was 1/10th of a second which could have easily could have been me being slightly off pushing the timer on my watch. The hub seems to work perfectly. Read more

This is just what I needed for my laptop. I used to often find myself needing more USB ports on my laptop. This solves that issue. I like that it's compact and lightweight for portability. The body is made of aluminum so it should handle the abuse of getting tossed in and out of the bag. I really like this one because it has a much longer cable than most of this type of hubs have so you don't have this and a bunch of other devices you plug into this hanging right off the side of the laptop. The installation is simple. This is just a hub so it's totally plug-and-play. There is no software or drivers that you need to download to install. If you have limited USB ports on your laptop, this is a great option. Read more
