I love them. They fit perfectly. Tip for any buyer... with mocassins you want them just a little snug so the leather can create that perfect fit as you wear them. This snugness will pass and you will never have a more comfortable shoe. I am in my late 40's and I have been a big fan of Minnetonka moccasins for more than half of my lifetime. I rarely wear any other kind of shoe Their shoes are the best quality I have found and I walk all the time so I wear shoes out very fast. It takes considerably longer to wear out a pair of their moccasins than any other kind of shoe. I recommend not wearing them in extreme weather if you want to protect the appearance of the moccasin and most definitely get yourself some leather protectant for the times you might find yourself caught out in the weather. I tend to get attached to my moccasins because they are beautiful, as well as extremely comfortable. Just because they can handle extreme weather doesn't mean you will want to wear them in it if you want them to remain beautiful. Read more

I owned a pair of these five years ago and must have somehow decided to give them away. Mayb they were worn. Not sure why as I loved them. I bought a new pair and can’t wait to wear them this Fall. Personally I wear these with straight leg jeans around town and errands. I love the cute look of them! It’s like wearing slippers but with a cute edge. I got the black as I had before and used a suede water protectant on them to protect from rainy days. Read more

I love moccasin shoes. I have wore them for years. Most comfortable shoe I have found and looks good too. I use to buy them at the leather store. But the leather store closed. I thought I would never find another pair of shoes. Until I found these on Amazon. So happy with my purchase. I recommend these shoes to everyone. Read more

These are Minnetonkas and I love Minnetonka. They are not slippers, they are booties good for three seasons, but not on rainy days. Other reviewers mentioned some bleed of color and I found that to be true and had nothing to do with getting them wet or sweating as neither of these occurred. They bleed right through socks to your sole, so be aware if you are taking these off somewhere that could embarrass you. The toes were a bit tight and I do not have a wide foot and I am not particularly wide across my toe span, but would not have ordered these in a larger size. They do go on easily with a back zipper, which was important to me because I don't like to jam my foot into any boot I am trying to put on. I hate trying to pull through a shaft, which is why I didn't order the longer-shafted and multi-fringed version of these. It was obvious there was no easy way to put those on as they do not have a zipper, and of course there is always a question of calf width and fit in a longer shafted boot. These were the logical alternative. They look great with slim jeans as they are ankle length. I'm too old to wear them with shorts and I don't like them with flares as there is no height to the heel. I chose the black but would probably have more use out of a lighter, neutral color for spring or fall. Read more

I purchased these as a gift for someone. Listing stated it was being sold by Minnetonka and would come in original box. I made sure to select original packaging through Amazon as well. Item arrived in a standard box. However the real issue was that the sole is super narrow. The recipient has very small feet. But these soles are extremely narrow. I have thin fingers . Ring finger is size 4.5 . The width of the size 5 sole was only 3 ( of my ) fingers in the middle. Ratio of width to length didn't seem right either. They seemed long compared to width. And the zipper didn't rise all the way to the top or even come close. I was pretty disappointed as I was sure recipient would have loved these had they been made better. 😕 returned quickly after receiving. Read more

I'm picky when it comes to closed-toe shoes because I really prefer to go barefoot, or at least wear sandals or flip flops. I purchased these because some had said it was like going barefoot- definitely not the case! The sole is thicker and stiffer than I had hoped. I feel like I am wearing this big heavy boot on my feet, and even worse, they make this clumping sound when I walk like I am wearing combat boots! Not the lightweight moccasin feeling I was going for. (I ended up going with the Minnetonka Side Zip Boot, which has a much more flexible and lighter feeling sole and is quiet as a mouse when you walk). Now, for the positives- they look super cute and the suede is soft and supple. It's a high quality, thick suede. I purchased the "taupe" despite its name, and it is actually a camel color- a light tan. Very pretty. I also love the back detailing with the suede pull on the zipper. In terms of sizing, in my case the shoe ran large. I have worn a size 7 1/2 for my entire adult life but this shoe in a 7 1/2 was too big on me. If I would have wanted to keep them I would have had to go down a half size. I've seen others say the shoe runs small- so I guess Minnetonka's quality control is lacking and it's a toss up whether you will receive ones that fit you. If you are wanting these by a certain date (and you have the means) I would recommend buying your size, plus a half size smaller and larger, you can always compare the 3 and return the ones you don't want. Otherwise you're bound to play the sizing game while you wait and buy-return-buy-return-buy-return. :) Read more
