The first thing I noticed about this blazer is that the fabric is textured with a wavy pattern that was imperceptible in the photos. This gives it a more casual look, which works well with nice jeans or slacks, but might be more difficult to pair with a more professional suit-seperates type of look. I ordered the small based on their size chart, even though my shoulders are a bit wide. There is some stretch to the fabric so that wound up being fine, and generally the fit is great, but the waist of the garment, based on where the lapel ends, is a full three inches low on me. I consider myself to have a pretty long torso, so for anyone with a short torso, particularly if you have an hourglass or pear shape where you want to accentuate the waist, this may not be the ideal cut. The size chart does not provide the length but mine is 27 inches at the back. They recommend hand washing below 30° C, which seems a lot to ask for a Polyester item, but it does seem like the type of polyester that might be prone to shrinking up with heat. So I have been washing cold in a delicate cycle, and air drying for now, and so far that has been fine. It does not have a liner, and the textured fabric is not exactly soft, but it is breathable and I don't find the texture or the seams to be distracting. A liner would have just made it more comfortable against the skin, although I admit it may be a lot to expect from a blazer at this price point. I do applaud the pockets that are actual pockets though, so that's an easy plus. So if you just want a business casual blazer with a bit of unique styling, that you don't have to worry about too much, this may help fill out your wardrobe. Read more
