MIRA 12 oz Stainless Steel Kids Water Bottle - Metal Thermo Flask Keeps Cold for 24 Hours Hot

I bought this as a water bottle for my 3-year-old to use at preschool. She’s been using it for a couple months and it has held up great so far (photos reflect these couple of months’ use). There are a few dents along the bottom from when it’s been dropped, but that’s unavoidable. The bottle keeps water cold: we usually put in 3 ice cubes and though they melt in a couple hours, the water stays cold enough that our daughter is happy to continue drinking it. It’s easy for her hold in her hands and to unscrew the spout on her own (though we’ve figured out that Dad needs to be mindful how tightly he screws it shut), and the large handle makes it easy to carry around. She loves using it because it makes her feel like a big girl. For people who are into that kind of thing, I used acrylics to paint her name along the side and then sprayed it Krylon Crystal Clear. I tried to seal it with Mod Podge first, but that started flaking off the powder coating immediately. The Krylon, on the other hand, has worked very well. I have noticed one or two small spots along the edges where it’s chipped a little, but not enough for me to feel a need to retouch so far. Read more

Great thermos. Wife was looking for a twist top thermos in a small size and this one checked all the boxes for what she was looking for. Good build quality. The flip top uses a real hinge instead of bent plastic that will break from normal usage. The build material feels very similar to higher quality brands like contigo. I wish they included a silicone sleeve for the bottom like some other brands to prevent minor dings, but that is not a deal breaker. Things stay colder longer if you rinse it with cold water before you pour in your beverage. Works all day long. My son's contigo works a little better than this but we paid almost double for it. The difference in performance, while slightly noticeable, is negligible unless you are storing a beverage for over 12 hours. As an example where we used both on the same day was a day at the amusement park. The difference in the temperature was only noticeable at the end of the day when we were driving home after 14 hours. My 6yo granddaughter used this for Nature Camp a couple weeks ago. Due to the pandemic, the water fountains were off limits. A refillable water bottle was required. This one was perfect. Put ice in it, fill with water and it stayed cold. Some ice still in it when she would refill it while there. Had a spout so it's easy for her to drink from. Twist top off, and has a wide mouth so it's also easy for her to refill herself. Has a handle, so it's easy for her to carry, as well. I always washed it by hand, and was easy to clean. Highly recommend. One suggestion: it would be great if it came with a carabiner on the handle. Read more

I bought this as a water bottle for my young daughter to take with her when we go hiking. We try a plastic one but one drop proved we needed something strong. This one is perfect. She loves it. She also loves that it’s exactly like mine just smaller. It’s very durable. Cute as can be. Her favorite color. Came in quickly with issues. As easy to clean as any of them. Keeps water cold for hours. My larger size one stays warm for hours so I would assume hers would as well however she doesn’t drink anything hot. I’ll absolutely buy anyone of these. Read more
