These sweaters are beautiful and perfect for summer; thin and breezy, colorful, well-fitting and beautifully embroidered. I usually wear 2X-3X and purchased XL, and while the fit isn't as loose and flowy as pictured, it fits comfortably and looks great; I've purchased six so far. I haven't seen a review yet for the longer, crocheted version of the sweater; I love the look of that one too but I'm pretty sure that style will run small. I'm a short, chubby woman (5'2, 180lbs), and I love the Boho esthetic BUT it can be too easy for the clothes to drown me and make me look frumpy. This sweater was a very happy surprise. It's bigger and longer than I expected, but because it's lightweight, and almost lacy, it doesn't overwhelm my body at all. I got the XL, and considered exchanging it for the L, but ultimately decided to keep the XL. The larger size let's me do the sort of sloppy, comfy look, while I think the L would "fit like a cardigan", which would be a totally different (more buttoned-up) look. Read more
This is so perfect I bought it in two colors. I waited to make sure I liked it, and my daughter loved it; she sees women wearing them and confirmed it was a stylish look—not a granny sweater. The open weave and light weight means it isn’t hot, and it can be casual and still make an outfit look dressier if that’s what you want. I like to cover my arms, but I love wearing sleeveless outfits. These dress up an outfit, but you can keep it casual with shoes or accessories. I really wanted to keep this. It had to go back due to an ugly 1/3” slub on the front of one shoulder. On the back of the opposite shoulder was what looked like a loop/pull. So disappointed. I ordered the beige color. The fit was perfect, the knit was soft, felt comfortable on the skin, and it wasn’t too overwhelming for my 5’ 2” frame. The price is certainly inexpensive but, very unfortunately, quality control failed on the one I received. I am returning it. Check yours carefully before keeping! Read more
