When these became available for me to try there were no pictures at all of the product. So I took a chance. First the quality is amazing. The insides are nice and fluffy and warm. The outside is really made well in how it’s made and stitching just doesn’t seem like a cheap product. The platform is different for me. I didn’t know what to expect, it’s not really my style. But it’s yet to be boot weather and I’ve kept them around to try out when it is. They are growing on me. They are super cute and expensive looking, if they weren’t a platform id have worn them daily by now. But that’s me and I didn’t take a star off for my own style. Even with the platform they aren’t heavy to walk in. They feel exactly the same as any other fuzzy boot. If this is your style I totally recommend you won’t be disappointed. They fit true to size as well even with the fluffy inside they fit as they should for my size. Read more

I took a chance and ordered MISHANSHA's newest model of suede ankle boots sight-unseen - there was no photo of the item included with the Vine offer, and no photo anywhere online, including their Amazon store, so I couldn't see the style OR the color in advance; all I knew from the listing was the size I'd be getting. I usually wear a women's 8, sometimes a 7.5, if the item's forefoot is wider and less fitted. For this sample pair I only had options of 7.5 or 8.5, and my first instinct was to go with the 7.5, but because I saw a few comments indicating that MISHANSHA's shoes and boots ran small, I sized up to 8.5. I'm glad I did, because these really DO run small. The pair of snow boots I received, although tagged 8.5, fit more like a 7.5 to 8, in fact they're almost snug on me, even without winter socks. Luckily, the uppers are genuine suede, so they should stretch a bit, and be OK once they're broken in. I apparently selected a chestnut-colored suede, which looks a little more rusty and brownish in real life than in my photos. The most accurate photo, as far as color, is the picture where you're looking straight down at the top of the foot. These boots seem warm, sturdy and well-made, and the soles have an anti-slip design, so I think they'll be OK for snowy winter weather, despite the higher-than-normal platform. While investigating MISHANSHA's other footwear, I came across an earlier style they offered, which looks nearly identical but isn't elevated as much on the soles, and this alternate model might be a better option if you like the design and construction of these booties, but are uncomfortable with such a tall platform. Overall, I think these are decent shoes, considering they were a total blind-buy, but I do recommend ordering up at least a half size, and maybe even a whole size for better fit. Read more

I'd been looking for platform mini boots like this for a while, but didn't want to pay the price that brands like Ugg are charging. When I found these, I was hesitant because of the cheaper price, but this was a good find! They feel just like the mainstream brand and are so comfortable for casual walking or just around the house. The one thing to be mindful of is the platform is quite high, which some people like, but others not so much. I also haven't tried them with outdoor terrain, but the bottom of the shoe seems like it might slip, so also something to be mindful of. Read more

I love these new boots by Mishansha. The materials, design, fit and price are all first rate. During summer, I mostly wear sneakers and prefer ones with a platform sole, so I was thrilled to find these boots. I’m 5’7” but who doesn’t like a little extra height? I imagine some people may actually wear boots like this in snow. Fortunately I live in a part of Northern California that doesn’t get snow. I ordered a pair of fleece booties similar to these from Amazon almost two years ago, as shown on the left with these boots on the right in one of the photos. They make the best winter house shoes (that one can also venture outside in when so inclined.) I have lived in them each winter and was ready for a new pair. I seem to be a fairly standard women’s size 10 or European 41. My feet are not super long but are wide. These boots fit perfectly for me. If I interpret the reviews correctly, those with long feet may want to size up, but I didn’t find that to be the case for myself. Read more

The best feature of these snow boots is the very tall sole (about 1½”) that gets your feet up from the cold ground! The soles aren’t very flexible, but they cushion every step. The exterior is made of suede leather, and the pieces are stitched together flawlessly. The interior surrounds your feet entirely with this plush faux fur, making them snug and warm. I read that these boots run small, so ordered up ½ size. When I tried them on barefoot, they felt too roomy, but once I added thick winter socks, the larger size was perfect. So, I recommend you select a size based on the socks you plan to wear. The heavily textured sole will provide good traction in the snow. These boots will keep your feet elevated and warm when you need to be out in the snow. They’re a great value for real leather at $50.
