I got this garment bag for costume dust protection. The depth expansion is great for a fairy costume dress I own, and the pockets are perfect for storing accessories like the tiara. The material isn't the thickest or most durable, but I really didn't expect it to be at this price point, which offers great value. I probably wouldn't store an expensive wedding dress in it, but for costumes it's an inexpensive and practical solution. The way it folds is also convenient for travel when I plan to dress up at my destination instead of at home. You have to supply your own hanger, which is fine since some garments need certain hanger features anyway. There are two things I don't like. When folded and zipped, the zipper covers the hanger opening. I would have liked the option to hang it from the hanger while folded in my closet for storage. Some sort of flap to cover the hanger hole when you don't want that feature would have been more versatile. The carrying straps are adjustable, but a padded Velcro sleeve to join them would have been preferred for comfort. I can use an aftermarket pad for that at least. The listing photos are a little misleading on pocket size - there's no way those pockets are fitting a single heel, let alone a pair, unless you have baby feet. They're better suited for smaller accessories. Overall, this is a solid garment bag for the price, especially for costume storage and travel. Read more

This is a really cool garment bag with interesting design features and massive capacity. It's also made of quality woven oxford cloth like a light backpack type material, with well constructed zippers, thoughtful pockets, and a super efficient way that it folds up to carry. I had a hard time deciphering exactly how this goes together from the product photos and description. It's much simpler and more impressive in person. It's a long bag with a long center zipper, you put your garment(s) in on a hanger, affix the hanger in place, zip the long zipper, then it's pretty obvious how it folds up and zips around 3 sides to secure it and make it into an easily portable package. It has lots of pockets and a few layers when it's folded but it's very lightweight when it's empty! That's getting more important to me these days. I can't deal with bags that are heavy before you even put anything in them. This one is light! Light but sturdy and up for the task. I know this is not just a wedding dress bag, but that is my intended use :) I feel more prepared already even though the date is not set, I need time to get ready and this bag is a big step forward! This garment bag is just an amazing value for money. For the amount of features it has and the large size and capacity, you can't go wrong. It's nice to see a genuine good deal and I hope if you are thinking about this bag and on the fence that my review helped you make your decision (get it! :) I wish I could photograph this bag better but it's so large and I just don't have the space free at the moment to do it justice.
