This is perfect for traveling! When traveling, my husband often gets to the shower in the hotel before I do, taking prime soap holder space. Pockets are large and product appears to be well made. I use it to take shower supplies to gym. The large swivel hook makes it easy to hang. It is somewhat clumsy to pack into a gym bag and items sometimes fall out in transit. I would not use it for travel. Read more

Bought this item to hold bath toiletries & hang over the shower head in the small shower on board our upcoming first cruise; saw that other people have done same thing, and figured "I need do that too...". Haven't actually used it yet, but it's packed in the suitcase and ready to be summoned into service! It's a good quality, sturdy, with mesh to drain off the water, and will hold what we (okay, me!) need it to hold: small bottles of shampoo and cond. (hubby's too), my razor and shave cream, and bar soap we're bringing along. It won't take up a lot of space in the suitcase, and will save counter space in our cabin, since it'll be hangin' in the shower and outa the way. Of course hubby thinks it's not necessary, but wait'll he sees how handy it is once we get to our tiny cruise cabin and he doesn't have to keep trying to find his soap and shampoo while he's in the shower.... If you're wanting to travel with full-size bottles this is excellent. But if you have travel-size bottles, the pockets are way too deep. The strap does nothing to keep the unit folded up nearly in your luggage (but that may be because I use travel-size bottles). The hanger is very sturdy, the mesh is fine. Overall it's just ~okay~. I ordered this item because sometimes I am staying in a place where there are no shelves in the shower. Usually there is a shower rod or a towel hook available that I can hang a bag like this. This is adequate for those occasional travel trips. It has enough pockets for my shower cap, comb, travel size shampoo and conditioner, and shower poof/soap. It dries fast, so I am able to repack it in my suitcase. Neither does it take much space in my suitcase; I just fold in half and slip it into a thin pocket.
