I ordered the mixi 26’’ Max Trunk Luggage PC Hard Shell Rolling Suitcase in the Dreamy Purple color and it has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of luggage. The color is beautiful in person and makes it very easy to spot on a baggage carousel, which is a small detail that makes travel less stressful. The hard polycarbonate shell feels durable and protective without being overly heavy, and the trunk-style design gives it a surprising amount of interior space for packing longer trips. The spinner wheels roll smoothly in every direction and the telescoping handle feels sturdy when moving through airports. I also appreciate the TSA lock and organized interior compartments that keep everything secure and easy to access. Overall, it feels like a well-made suitcase that balances durability, capacity, and value, and I would absolutely travel with it again. Read more

I’m so excited to use this for my trip to Japan it is big and feels sturdy. It has the pockets on the inside where I can put some toiletries or some folded up thin items. The zippers are solid and good quality it also has a lock when you shut the luggage. It is light too so it shouldn’t add too much to the luggage weight when you check it in. It’s easy to roll and I’m sure it’ll be easy to roll with stuff inside. So excited to use this!! The purple is pretty but I don’t get too attached to colors when you check these in they always get scuffed Read more

I needed a compact suitcase, and the Mixi Trunk Luggage 24-Inch fits the bill. Its hard shell feels durable yet lightweight, with a clean, modern design and several color choices. The four spinner wheels roll smoothly in any direction, making it easy to move through airports or hotel lobbies. It has a sturdy side handle and an extendable top handle that adjusts smoothly. Inside, the suitcase opens into two compartments, each secured by a zippered cover that helps keep items organized. One side includes two extra zip pockets for smaller belongings. The built-in TSA lock adds convenience and peace of mind while traveling. Overall, it’s a well-designed piece of luggage that works well for short trips or as part of a larger travel set. Read more

What problem we were trying to solve We wanted a durable checked suitcase with plenty of space, wheels that glide easily, and a trunk-style opening that makes packing more organized. What actually happened when we used it This mixi trunk suitcase is extremely well built. The shell feels sturdy and protective without being overly heavy, and the trunk-style layout gives a ton of usable space with easy access to both sides. The wheels roll smoothly and quietly, even when the suitcase is fully loaded. The zippers and handles feel strong, and the interior compartments make packing and separating items simple. For the price, the durability, design, and overall capacity make it a great value for frequent travelers. Pros • Spacious trunk-style design for organized packing • Smooth, quiet wheels • Strong shell that feels durable and protective • Quality zippers and handles • Excellent value for a large checked suitcase Cons • Larger size means you’ll want to watch airline weight limits Who this is perfect for Travelers who want a sturdy, smooth-rolling checked bag with smart organization and plenty of space for long trips. So I haven't taken this on a trip yet, or at least not one where I'm logging it through an airport and going somewhere like that kind of trip. I did however, use it to load up a bunch of products and equipment that were needed going to a comic con as a vendor. First of all this thing is constructed so well. It's not super hard even though it's called a hard shell. There is a little bit of flex to it but that's OK. The capacity of this thing is so surprising, you open it up and not only is there a huge capacity in the bottom to put items but then when you unzip the cover for the top and open that up as you can see from the pictures you have just as much room in the lid as well. The quality of this thing is really surprising. The handles on the top and side to pick it up with if you're pulling it out of a trunk or off a luggage conveyor are really well constructed. The zipper that goes all the way around is constructed and installed very well so that it's out of the way. The pole handle is extremely sturdy and it just glides not only across the floor but also a parking lot on its fork casters. I didn't have a chance to use the lock, but it is nice that it has a built-in TSA compliant lock, which I definitely will use when I take this on an actual trip next month. Was a little surprised at the cost at first, but after using it, it's nothing but a value. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I go overseas 4 times per year, sometimes carrying bulky items, traveling most of the times with family, so I consider myself quite an expert in packing. This suitcase is well built, the wheels rolls in all directions quite well, and the handle has three levels. This is practically all the positive aspects I can see. Cons: 1) the shape is unique, narrow in width. I am afraid it might not fit large items. 2) it is not expandable; 3) the double closure is in reality a waste of space; if I want to stuff the luggage those are on the way. 4) the handle in the middle of the luggage takes space inside the luggage itself. For light travelers, where only clothes and toiletries are carried, this suitcase will work. But for those who need to carry items of several shapes or volume, presents for extended family, boots, etc....this luggage is not practical. Read more
