Customers find these lighters pretty and well-designed, with a strong flame that stays on like a butane soldering torch.

I purchased these to light sparklers for my daughter’s wedding. The flame was wind proof and strong. The lighters are user friendly and worked great to quickly light 150 items. Read more
The quality of the product it’s great. Reading through the comments I see the negative comments are based on the lighters performing poorly after refilling, they do not work as great, I have the same issue, and I’ve tried multiple and different types of butane. Although the details in the product shows options as “NEON Butane” the flame doesn’t come out as strong as when they are brand new. If we could get better options or suggestions for butane to refill and get the same torch/flame as when brand new, we’ll highly appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Read more

I ordered these lighters on impulse because of the eye-catching colors. At first glance, they seemed like a great deal—I assumed they were torch lighters and figured I was getting good value for the quantity advertised. Unfortunately, after using them for about a month, I can confidently say they weren’t worth the purchase. When the package arrived, everything looked fine, but right away, I noticed three of the lighters didn’t work. Additionally, all of them had very little lighter fluid in them. I thought, “No big deal, I’ll just refill them.” But after multiple attempts with different brands of lighter fluid, nothing worked. Hoping for a solution, I turned to YouTube and found a video from the manufacturer. In the comments, I saw many others experiencing the same issue. The company even responded to a question, recommending a specific brand of lighter fluid. I purchased both the large and small sizes of that brand—and still, none of the lighters worked after refilling. At this point, it was clear these lighters weren’t reliable. The only positive thing I can say is that the flame, while not a true torch, does hold up decently in windy conditions. However, that small advantage isn’t enough to justify the hassle. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend these lighters to anyone. They were a waste of money, and there are far better options out there. Read more

I purchased these lighters to have on-hand for our sparkler send-off from our wedding reception. I loved them so much that I have them spread out around my apartment so that they are easy to get to for all of our candles. The flame is really steady and strong, so they worked perfectly for lighting the sparklers, and they have lasted a long time - I purchased them in October 2024 and used them regularly for 10 months. They are small, but a little longer than a standard pocket lighter. Read more

You can buy this style of lighter at anytime in any 100¥ shop in Japan. My focus here isn’t on price, but on availability. Needless to say, these lighters are of premium quality. I’m just glad I was able to find this style at all. I have no idea why they are not sold at regular stores in America or easier to find on Amazon. They are so practical because they light or burn what they are applied to quicker, and the heated air (similar to a torch effect of a little less than an inch long) coming out of the aperture isn’t affected by wind or lighter orientation. After using this style for a while overseas, I find myself seriously wondering why regular flame lighters are so prevalent. They are really very low-tech in comparison. About $3 a lighter in this set at $30 for 10 is a fairly high price for a lighter, but they are technically refillable; and the build quality, ease of use, and fact that they are present in a market where this style is so perplexingly unavailable justifies the cost in my eyes.
