This isn't just made for costume use. Whenever I go out I wear this to keep warm. The arm holes are perfect. My only nitpick is the button that secures the cloak together was seen on a bit loose, but that's nothing a 3 minute touch up with a needle and thread can't fix. Great quality, makes me wonder why cloaks aren't more popular than jackets. Read more
Size Ordered: Small My Body Measurements: Full Bust - 43 Inches Height - 5 Feet 6 Inches Inseam - 32 Inches PRO: LENGTH - I was pleased that this cloak is in fact a full length cloak. At least on me. I only tried it on briefly and didn't measure, but best I can remember, it hit me on the top of my feet (no shoes). I did do a 'rough' measurement of the cloak laying flat and folded, and the description is true to length for the size Small at around 53 Inches (NOT including the hood). I measured from around the neck seam to the bottom. PRO: QUALITY - The cloak is well made, and the cloth is nice and thick which is what I'd wanted. Fairly heavyweight fabric. 100% polyester. PRO: HOOD - I'd worn a friend's cloak prior to purchasing this one, and her hook was a fair amount larger than this one. You might think, "isn't that better?" Well, for me, not really. This hood seemed smaller so less cold air would be able to fly in plus I feel like this one would be easier to keep on your head without it blowing off. The larger hood I could've turned my head round like an owl, and it wouldn't have turned with me. I ended up having to grab it and pull it back when I wanted to look left or right. You might prefer this. I would like to be able to turn my head and the hood be small enough to turn with me. CON: UNLINED - I thought the cloak would be lined. It is not. So I'll be returning. However, the fabric is relatively soft considering. I don't think the fabric would be scratchy. CON: SHOULDERS - The shoulders are sewn in somewhat of an 'L' pattern which kind of gives the appearance of a linebacker. Unless you are broad shouldered, this will be fairly noticeable and odd looking. CON-ish: BUTTON - I attempted to fasten the button. It was pretty difficult so I didn't bother since I already knew I'd be returning it. Thought I'd mention it. If the above cons don't bother you, then yes, the cloak is priced right at around forty bucks at the time of purchase, and I would definitely recommend buying it. Otherwise, probably not. This cloak is amazing. I have put this thing through the wringer, I got my son a different brand and a smaller one, but the greens match, we looked awesome for Halloween, and we kept wearing these cloaks through the winter time. They were warm enough that I just needed a long sleeve shirt, in the days that I wore a heavier sweater under it I actually got a little bit overheated. My mom is a lot more crafty than me so later this year she's going to teach me how to sew faux fur lining inside both of our cloaks for the freezing days next year. This cloak is comfortable, cozy, not too lightweight, and not too heavy. My hair goes down past my waist, and the hood comfortably fits all of my hair and then some whether my hair is down or up in a bun, which is my greatest grievance with any and all hoods. 🙂 So far the button is holding up great, and like I said I've tried everything to not damage, but push the boundaries of this cloak. I ran, I jumped off of taller things, my son pulled on it when we were trick or treating, I thought the button was going to break, but it held up like a charm. I also love that I can wear a little dress with this and the cloak actually reaches my ankles. It makes me feel very cute, very demure, very mysterious. Nobody's brave enough to wear cloaks now that they're not in fashion like they were a couple hundred years ago. It's a shame. (Sorry my kid's face looks scary, I was trying to protect his identity. This photo is from our town's Christmas Tree Lighting this last week, Early December, 2025) Read more

Warm and comfortable, but the button fell off when I put it on, with barely a touch, just now while taking my kids trick or treating in the cold. So that wasn't great. It could be sturdier. Read more
I am pleasantly surprised by the value. It is not super thick wool grade, you would expect to pay more for that anyway, but it is thick enough that you don't feel dumb wearing it outside in the cold halloween nights. Looks just like the picture and stays on. Read more
The button to fasten the cloak broke before even trying it on. It was not done very well, and the button with the strip of cloth is of similar quality. It won't hold it's own weight for very long. Fabric is fine. Read more
Calf muscle, not the ground. It's not long at all, and it's not a thick material, it's kind of thin. I bought it as a gift for someone else. And so she kept it, but my expectations was that it was going to be a long cape that dragged the ground and it does not Read more
