I was looking for a small desk to fit in a corner next to my main desk and had a ridiculous set of criteria to meet. I wanted a standing desk, did not want one of those where you need to adjust each leg separately with a screw, needed pretty specific measurements that proved to be a pain to find, and also wanted to clamp an Ikea pegboard to the back. I wasn't even sure this one would meet all my criteria but took a chance anyway and I'm happy I did. The drawer comes pre assembled and is surprisingly roomy for what I expected. The rest of the assembly comes together easily with just a bit of time and easily done by one person. You have the option to use it without the larger wheels which allows it to have an even lower minimum height. The adjustment lever, which is what i was most nervous about, is easy to operate, even with stuff on the desk. I am not using it as my primary desk, but I think it would be fine for that purpose if you're short on space for a bigger desk. if using the bigger wheels, it locks pretty solidly in place as well. I admit, I had low expectations when I ordered this desk. It has exceeded all expectations. It is very sturdy, stable and does not wobble when all the way up or when rolling on carpet with the larger included wheels. The desk is easy to raise up and has adjustment levers on both the left and right sides. The drawer is also sturdy and has rails and glides smoothly. I had originally thought I would remove the drawer, but it is proven to be extremely useful. I have not hit my knees on it once. The desk frame is solid steel and I expect it will hold up very well. The white laminate surface has also proven easy to clean, and the wood edging is very attractive. Overall, I feel I have gotten very good value for my dollar, and would highly recommend this desk to anyone. Read more
Unfortunately, my desk arrived with an incorrect column (leg). Found out during step 2 of assembly, when the holes of one of the desk columns didn’t align with the holes in the base. So disappointing, because this desk was exactly what my wife needed. The time and effort required to repack the desk for return made me not want to try the replacement route, so I opted for a refund.
