This desk is awesome! It was super easy to put together. The castors work great and are able to lock into place. The crank also works great and allows for a good range of adjustable height. The main post is made of painted white steel with the top being particle board. I am able to feed my laptop cord through the slot at the back so that it is always within reach. The size is good--there is plenty of room for my laptop and space around it. there is also a cup holder although it does not fit a very large mug or cup. This is a great desk/table. I saw it and thought it would be perfect for the bedside. It has little wheels for rolling so it glides easily. The table is adjustable for height adjustment . It has enough room for work or a dish tray. It is built well and is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble not to many pieces to assemble. It functions well the wheels glide easily and it lifts easily. I'm a bit disappointed by this. The idea is good; however the design seems to be flawed. It's not a desk you could pull up to your bed, as the base will not allow the desktop to go over the bed, perhaps only slightly, it would be more of a side table. It has an adjustable crank to raise and lower, but it only lowers so far. It does not lower enough to sit comfortably on your couch (and my couch height is normal) and work. Perhaps if you use in in a doctor's office or something with a high chair, that would be best. It does wheel around easily on a hardwood floor; all wheels have locks. In addition, it has a small cup holder and phone/table holder at the front of the desktop. I will try to find a use for it. Read more
