Perfect for Salt Jewelry Projects

PaigeOctober 23, 2025✓ Verified purchase

This 20-gauge silver craft wire is sturdy, easy to work with, and perfect for making salt jewelry. The 82-foot length gives plenty of material for multiple projects, and the tarnish-resistant finish keeps it looking nice over time. Great for both crafting and functional pieces! Read more

So far, so good!

Marie S. from PhillySeptember 27, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I like this wire quite a bit so far. My new pendant (see photo) took me moments to make and I was very impressed with the way the wire held those curves. It was definitely half-hard, so may be a bit tricky for a new person but with a little bit of practice, they should master turns fairly quickly. Also, the shine is pretty and is what I was worried about: real silver color has an almost white sheen to it but stainless steel does not. I was afraid this wire would look too much like stainless steel but all in all, I think it will pass at quick glance for being "silver in color". It was fairly easy to cut with my good flush cutters but the tool you supplied is not one I would recommend with which to cut this wire. It works pretty well on 22 or higher gauge wire but 18 gauge, not so much. That's ok - I can always use another pair of needle nose pliers for my students! I would have given it 5 stars but I've only had this product for a few hours and only made a couple of things (one pendant, one ear cuff). As I said, so far, so good! Would I buy it again? Yes, very good for my teaching purposes, and when students are ready to handle a more expensive wire, I feel they will graduate to it fairly easily. Meanwhile they will have beautiful pieces of wire jewlery to wear or use as gifts. Read more

Gift for my grandson who lives in Florida. He finds shark teeth and makes necklaces out of them. This wire works best for him and the pliers were perfect too. Great value for the money!! We will purchase again. Read more

Spool problems

Thomas DannattFebruary 21, 2026✓ Verified purchase

The wire and delivery time was fine, but every spool of wire i received the spool has been broken which makes unwinding the wire a chore. It just happens on those that include the pliers. Read more

Not as sturdy as I expected

KimberlyMarch 24, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I read about multiple sizes/thicknesses before selecting this one, based on the description and the possible uses it claimed to have... It said in the description this was a good size to use for jewelry making (and other things), and that it was bendable, but it would hold it's shape. It is indeed very flexible, I could easily make it into any shape I needed. However, it didn't hold the shape/stay in position as well as I expected and needed it to... In addition to jewelry, I also make the butterfly bouquets, where you literally just bend the tip of the wire to glue on a super light butterfly (think a "7" figure, but with a very small "top" in comparison to the "stem"). Even before the glue was added, the top was drooping. I'm sure this is a wonderful product for wrapping things up to secure them, but with my own experience with it, if it's something you need to hold its shape, I'd try a different size. There were a lot of negative reviews about the pliers, but they've worked fine for me, and I use them pretty frequently. Read more
