I finally got around to installing this. My wife wanted some accent light on a wall where we hang pictures. We wanted something modern looking, dimmable, and have an adjustable light temperature. This light bar fit the bill. The light temperature is also controlled by a switch on the side of the light bar. If you want it to be dimmable, you will need a separate dimmer switch. If you've installed any light fixture before, this will be no problem. It's very straightforward -- just one hot, one neutral, and one ground ire.. All of the mounting hardware is included. It was a good size (we bought the 32 inch one) because it was wide enough to provide coverage for the entire photo wall. I can certainly see this being used above a bathroom mirror as well. My husband loves modern decor his bathroom so his choice. Once it was up I liked it as well. Simple one bar light design with matte black box and two holders. Fit perfect in the space needed. Paired it with a simple black framed mirror like the subtlety but still makes a statement. Has various light selections but you do need to use the button on the fixture to change them but nice and bright to cozy settings. It can use a dimmer if you choose. Appreciate that it is waterproof being in the bathroom, no bulbs to clean and no bugs can get in it yay. Easy to install and is good quality. Baby steps improving a train wreck of a huge bathroom that was used a a beauty shop but a good start on a budget. Read more

BRIGHT and pretty! I currently don't have my set up to a dimmer, and with light diffusing from 3 sides, from a long and beautifully mounted 3 dimensional bar, it is VERY bright! I like the black and warm white look, and this vanity light turned out to be perfect for me. It lights up the whole room and looks sophisticated and decorative for such a simple design. The materials feel so high quality to the touch, and now my bathroom looks like an adult uses it. I saw the dimensions in advance, but didn't realize how LONG it would be at 32 inches - it's wider than my mirror even. I would recommend doing some measurements before ordering to get a feel for how much room it will be taking up. Although it has a slightly expensive price, this one is worth the investment. What a beautiful, modern led light fixture! We installed ours above the vanity. The black and brass goes so well with the rest of the rooms decor. Simple, clean and classy. I never realized having 5 different light settings would become so important, but I can’t imagine being without now. I set the light to more of the warm hues when I want to relax in the bath, then change to the brighter hues when trying to apply makeup or when my husband shaves. I couldn’t be more pleased! My husband said it was very easy to install. UPDATE: light still working beautifully. Only issue I’m having is switching from one light hue to another. I’d like to do it more for different reasons, but having the switch located on the light itself (which is high above the vanity mirror) is difficult to reach.
