Saying this chandelier is beautiful is an understatement and truly does it no justice. The base is wide and can sit almost flush against the ceiling or hang down at your desired length and/or angle. The crystals that dangle down all need to be manually installed, which is probably the only slight downside to this product. I was anxious to have the fixture up, so had it installed without the crystals dangling, as It took me awhile to find the time to get each piece hung, and then did it section by section until the entire thing was complete. Even “naked” the base crystals bling and sparkle and if one didn’t know what the chandelier was supposed to look like, they’d think it was designed as is. The base comes wrapped up very well and not a single crystal was loose or ajar, so I’d recommend removing all plastic before hanging as its on there pretty well. The hardware consisted of a plethora of components for various mounting techniques and styles including an electrical saddle, so incredibly thorough and well thought out in terms of mounting applications and electrical components. The fixture comes with a remote that hosts way more than your average ceiling light settings. It’s dimmable but includes a dark mode, sleep mode and then different tones/contrasts. Worked immediately upon insertion of batteries and no time consuming pairing was required. This has easily transformed the look of my living room and has become the statement piece for sure. This is a HUGE chandelier. It looks absolutely amazing. We actually had this professionally installed and it's definitely a show stopper. It took 3 people to install this. You need white gloves for the balls and handling. Don't expect to do this on your own. Once it's installed, its worth the wait and the money. We also had to use it flush since our ceilings were not very high but this chandelier is why I got it. Others have to hang but given the low height, we get a lovely fixture without making the room look small. The kit comes with different hanging options though. This is a really nice light fixture.
