Looks great in my bedroom hallway. The light is a cold white and can’t be changed. Read more
This ceiling light fixture looks great and adds a modern touch to the room. The matte black and gold design is very stylish and works well with different décor styles. It gives off bright, clean light (the 5000K brightness is perfect for hallways, kitchens, or closets) and really lights up the space nicely. Installation was fairly straightforward and it sits flush to the ceiling, which is great for rooms with lower ceilings. The only small downside is that the light is a bit brighter/cooler than expected, but it still works well for functional spaces. It’s a great-looking fixture that provides excellent lighting and good value for the price. Read more
This fixture is smaller than I expected, but it ended up working out perfectly in a small office where I wanted something crisp, modern, and bright without hanging too low. The black and gold combo is doing a lot of work for me here because I am, admittedly, extremely easy to win over with that pairing. Design-wise, it’s clean and low profile, and the matte finish keeps it from looking cheap or fingerprinty. It feels more elevated than a basic builder-grade flush mount, even though the diffuser is plastic rather than glass. Once installed, though, it reads well and looks polished enough that I’m not hung up on that. The big thing to know is that this is not a cozy mood light. This is a get-things-done light. The 5000K output is bright, white, and useful — great for an office, laundry room, hallway, or any place where you would rather see clearly than feel romantic about your lighting choices. I moved it into my small office instead of using it as a general ceiling light elsewhere, and that ended up being exactly the right call. Live for black and gold forever. Laff at expecting “ambiance” from 5000K. Lurv a light that makes the room look sharper and brighter immediately. Read more
Pros: Very bright daylight output, clean modern look, low-profile, light weight, quick install Consider: 5000K is very white (not cozy). I didn’t want cozy - I needed lots of light = perfect! I put this flush mount in my kitchen, and it instantly changed the room. I can finally see everything now - counters, stovetop, what I’m chopping, all of it. Cooking is joyful again, mostly because I’m not squinting or working in shadows. Brightness and color (5000K): This is a true daylight-white kind of light. In a kitchen, I love that because it makes the space feel crisp and clean and it’s easier to tell what food actually looks like. If you want warm, relaxing light for a bedroom or living room, 5000K may feel a little clinical. Look and size: The fixture is a nice modern round style with a slim profile that sits close to the ceiling. The matte black with gold detail gives it a “finished” look without being flashy. At about 11.7 inches wide, it’s a good size for a kitchen, laundry, hallway, or closet area where you want strong light but don’t want a big hanging fixture. Installation: If you’re comfortable swapping a standard ceiling light, this is straightforward. It’s light enough to hold in one hand while lining things up, and the low-profile design is great for spaces where you don’t want something dangling. Like most ceiling fixtures, the only “slow” part is making sure you’re working with the right ceiling box and getting everything aligned so it sits flush. Quality and durability so far: It feels solid for a modern LED flush mount - nothing flimsy or rattly. The finish looks clean and even. I’ve only had it up a short while, but it’s been consistent with no flicker, and the brightness hasn’t changed. Bottom line: this is a strong choice when your main goal is seeing clearly. In my kitchen, it made an immediate difference, and it looks better than the basic builder light it replaced. Read more

This item came packaged well. I was a bit disappointed that the shade isn't glass, it's plastic, but it is disclosed in the listing. My husband said it was a pretty standard install, but the shape made it hard for his large hands to get the screws in. It was a bit more effort, but he got there eventually. It's a nice upgrade from the 25 year old builder fixture it's replacing. It really does a good job of brightening a basement stairwell. It looks like the listing. I'm not sure the value is great because again, it's a plastic globe, not a glass one. That being said it works, it's very bright, and installed I think looks good. The size is expected and I'm satisfied overall. Read more
