In brief: it seems like it will be easily on and off, comfortable, and the snaps a plus. Snaps: instead of fiddly buttons that are hard for kids, it has modern snaps which are great as kids can manipulate them if they desire and are much easier on parents to use them when getting a kid ready for the day. Unlike buttons, snaps are kid friendly. Texture feels like a light to mid weight cotton. I'm fond of how soft it feels and I had no issues with the seams. Haven't washed and worn yet, but I don't foresee any issues. Looks, as pictured it's not a bright yellow but subdued.
