Since the fixtures were installed on July 19th, i habe not been able to get the bulbs to connect to either bluetooth or wifi. Contacting the seller had been a merry go round. I tell him the issue, he gives instructions on connecting. Over and over we go around. Amazon help was no help. Love the look but the bulbs are useless. Give me money back like $25 and i will buy decent bulbs. i know how to connect them. I have about 60 devices on my network which includes several smart life lef bulbs. Read more

These lights are great to install either at the front porch or back porch. Light is bright enough to light my entrance pathway. I only put up two of these lights in the front and it lights up my front porch fairly well. It is great quality lamp with thickened aluminum case on the outside making it resistant to harsh weather conditions. I wouldn’t worry about damage during big storms. Light is very easy to install using its circular mounting plate. Color of light is adjustable so very fun to play around with during the different months and seasons. I plan to keep it warm white color on most days but change it to a colorful theme on special occasions and holidays. Very nice outdoor lights and so far no complaints. Read more

The light fixture is nice and modern. It comes with mounting brackets and wire nuts and installation was easy. The fixture is dusk to dawn, turn on at night and off in the morning. It comes with 4 smart light bulbs, 2 for each fixtures. You have to connect the light bulbs to a smart home app to be able to change color, etc... My problem with this is that the color is misleading. From looking at the photos, it look like its black and it also stated it's black under product information, but it's not, it's brown. I've contact the seller and they said they have the black finish in stock, but it comes with regular light bulbs, if I want the black finish with smart rgb light bulbs, they have to send it from China which will take 2 weeks. I asked them a few questions then told them I want to exchange it for the black finish with reqular light bulbs. Now, they said they don't have it instock either, sorry for the misunderstanding. The other problem is the way the ship the light bulbs, they just drop it into the light fixtures without screwing them in the socket or any wrapping protecting them, it just loosely inside the fixtures, this cause a lot of broken bulbs during shipping. Pros: Setup Alexa integration Quality Comes with bulbs and setup tools needed App user interface If remote is lost, you can download the app to control or use manually via switch (no colors though) Cons: MUST use Tuya app to connect via Alexa Some colors are off if you use Alexa Installing these took about 30-45 minutes alone. They come with 4 smart bulbs which is great. Both top and bottom of each light can be configured separately which can be tedious sometimes, but not so much if you’re a wiz in technology (of that I’m “ehh”). If you have a decent amount of knowledge in setting up Bluetooth/WiFi devices you’re set so don’t worry. Bluetooth setup can be a little iffy because they disconnect quite a bit. I’d suggest manual with switch or remote if you don’t like the idea of these connecting to your wifi network. I ended up doing it, and it was pretty easy. I just don’t like how I HAD to use their app first before allowing my Alexa to connect to them. Why we can’t just use smart bulbs in it and connect it that way, I don’t know. That’s why I took off a star. Some people would rather just connect it directly to Alexa and not have to download some third party application. Once setup you can see it have two parts to each lamp—a bottom and top which you can change their colors and configure separately. You can even make groupings to turn them all on at once as well to make things easier. One thing I did not like was that if you want lighter colors, the bulbs can’t really do certain colors like a “baby blue” or “light blue” if you ask Alexa to do it. You’ll have to configure it in the app. Overall it’s really modern and spruces up our front porch as opposed to the older looking lights we had before.
