Great fit but I wore it higher like empire. Would definitely need a belt or ribbon in my opinion. I did use one and it was fine. The fabric is thinner and shiny/sheen like spandex. It definitely has stretchiness but not taut/tight like spandex. Just enough flare at the bottom. I am of conscious my “back fat” so I was a little uncomfortable with that area.
