Feels very solid, including the grates, which are assembled quickly and easily. The "infrared" burner is very nice, it has even heat distribution and is somewhat wind resistant, especially with the grates attached. The propane can be turned up to an absurd level, where it jets out of the center of the burner and up 4 or 5 inches, but I've never needed to turn it up that high. It will run off a twenty pound tank, if you buy an adapter, and the paint seems to be a good quality. It's just large enough for my needs (car camping), but it's probably not light enough to carry if you're hiking. All in all, I'm quite satisfied. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This MoKo folding two burner camping stove would be a nice addition to anyones camping kit. It is well made, not some flimsy stove, but this does add to its weight and its height. It is a little heavier and the folded height more than some others I have had. A couple things I really like about this camping stove: 1. I love the burner design. It really puts out a lot of heat and it distributes the heat pretty evenly. When the knob is put to max it does produce a "jet" out of the center for doing quick super heating. I like this burner design much more than the typical ring of flame type burners. 2. Keeping it closed is done with magnets in the handles. At first I was skeptical about this but they are very strong and you don't have to fiddle with a mechanical clasp. 3. The grates have little fold out arms to better support larger cookware. As well as they have 4 locking tabs that keeps them securely in place when placed on stove and rotated to lock position. 4. The gas line between the bottle and the stove is a good length and the regulator that screws onto the bottle has an on/off valve. I like having this additional valve, not all similar stoves have this. 5. The ignition works great each time. A couple items to note: 1. The grates are fairly tall, the distance from the burner to bottom of cookware is a little more than expected but the heat is still transferred well. The height of these grates does make the packed up side of this stove a little larger than other stoves since they don;t backup inside the two folded halves but rather are held in the side pockets of the carry bag. 2. One small quality control issue I found which was related to the included pan, it had nothing to do with the stove itself. One of the Rivets for the flip handle on the pan was not properly done. Again, nothing with the stove itself, but just to make note. The attached review video gives a good summary and overview of this foldable camping stove. We get our fair share of power outages during hurricane season, so I picked this up to have a dependable way to cook for the family if the grid goes down. I tested it out in the backyard last night, and the sturdiness is what stood out most. The safety valve system on the hose is a nice touchโit gives me a bit more confidence knowing thereโs a leak-proof knob right at the connector. Itโs a very straightforward piece of equipment to use; no complicated assembly required. The heat output is way higher than the old single-burner butane stoves I used to use, and since it takes propane, fuel choice is easy since I already have tanks for my big grill. I brought this propane camping stove along on a weekend RV trip and ended up using it more than I expected. Instead of going in and out of the RV kitchen, I set this up on the picnic table outside and handled most of the cooking right there. Setup was quick. It unfolds smoothly and feels stable once locked open. I connected a small propane tank, did a quick leak check, and it fired up easily. One morning it was breezy at the campsite, and my older open-frame stove usually struggles in that situation.
