This has been one of the best car mounts I’ve ever had! it opens with a simple side button and closes for you automatically to grip your phone. I’m also guilty of taking it out of the phone holder while driving and it will grip it back for you automatically it’s one of the safest features I’ve ever found in a mount. I have had this item for 3 weeks now. Worked great until the temperature got really cold here in OHIO. Now the item won't open or close unless the temperature in the vehicle is warm enough. Update: Customer care reached out very quickly on this matter and their are sending a replacement. The clamping mechanism may have malfunctioned due to the low temperature during charging in winter. I love this. I did try to use the suction cup part but it wouldn’t work for my needs. But I put the vent holder on it and it was perfect. Quality is great and sturdy. Doesn’t bounce around while driving bumpy roads (or normal roads in WV lol) Definitely worth it. The clamping feature is great too. Charges my phone while it sits in the cradle. I need more of these. Remember it is 15w. Won’t supercharge but works I like that it opens and closes but hate when it closes all the way. Mine gets stuck closed and have to help it along. The motor feels a little cheap. But the mounting hardware is nice and they don’t feel cheap. Cleaners and cables included on my model. If the mounting spot is cleaned properly mine stuck to the texture surface even though it says not recommended. Do you research before buying if that’s the case. Obviously will stick to glass. It was better than I thought over all but feel like they could have done better with the motor. Read more
