The fabric is butter soft—no strange chemical smell, no stiffness, just instant comfort. I live in the high humidity climate of Hawaiʻi, and this blanket is pure perfection: cool to the touch, not too heavy, not too light. The weight, the texture, the feel—everything is just right. This blanket is so cool and comfortable! The material is slick and cold to the touch. Like anything else, it does warm up over time, but it cools off quickly and only the area touching your skin gets warm. I got the largest size and I just switch to another area of the blanket if I start to get warm. Not sure how well this would work if you share a bed. This is the best blanket I have ever purchased. It does work like it says it does. The only thing I have to say is while you’re laying in it it does get to your temperature that you are but feels still a degree or too colder when you first throw it on, it is about 10 to 15° cooler. It is so soft and so comfortable. I just got it yesterday and thinking about buying another one. I love it so much. I’ve already recommended it to so many people with just having it one day. I'm a hot sleeper. Like, it's no joke when summer rolls around, I'm sweating like no other (sorry it's that's TMI). HOWEVER, this cooling blanket, oh man- did it deliver my every need! The color (I chose butter yellow) and it's so pretty. The weight is so light yet it's weighted just the right amount. It's so cooling to the touch like feeling the ice breeze when you open the freezer. I just had the first restful night of sleep in months! I am a hot sleeper and always wake up multiple times to take off clothes, turn up ceiling fan, kick off covers, drink water, something. All because I’m so uncomfortable and sweaty. I just used this blanket for the first time last night and woke up with the fan set on medium, pajamas still on my body and NO sweat! I am in absolute shock right now! This is the coolest blanket I’ve ever felt. It’s so soft and smooth too, and very lightweight. Highly highly recommend for anyone who is a hot sleeper!
