The photos were taken right out of the box, immediately after I put them on for the first time. I hadn’t even walked in them yet! NOTE: This review is for the slip on Chelsea boot. The poor quality and instant creasing of the leather probably would not happen with the lace up wingtip or brogue slip on styles. Out of the box these boots were beautiful and exactly what I expected based on the reviews and photos. After slipping them on, the leather creased so badly that they looked used. The boots almost looked gray. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. So many people can’t be wrong, it makes me question if I got a bum pair. I love these boots. The add a little bit of edge to an otherwise conservative wardrobe. I wore them for the entire first day of a conference (fourteen hours on my feet and running around) and they held up pretty well.
