I thought I would give this desk a try because of the shape/size. It fits perfectly where we need it. I was a bit concerned about the other reviews but tried it anyway. Like them, the desk arrived with damaged edges. Also, after less than a couple of weeks of use the drawer is useless. The front has come off and the supports had to be reinforced with L brackets I had to add. The desk had promise...but if you really need the drawer...keep looking. Read more

Poor product support. I received the desk and assembled it to find that the drawer would not stay in the track, falling out each time I'd open and close it. I contacted the manufacturer, Monarch Specialities, and have been disappointed with their poor engagement. I wrote and asked what could be the issue causing the drawer to not stay in. They didn't respond to my question personally, though 4-5 weeks after that initial contact I finally did receive replacement parts for the desk, but only to find they didn't do anything to resolve the original problem. Overall the desk works and is quite decent, but I am annoyed that almost 2 months after purchase I still I don't have the complete desk working as it was shown in the pictures. Read more

The other reviewers were correct. The tray/drawer underneath is flimsy and it drops off its track. My knees kept hitting it. So, I took it off and placed it on the board below it. That is a suitable work around. Not an elegant solution but a functional one. Read more

I definitely would not recommend this desk. First the panels to the drawer were like dust when screwing into pre-drilled holes. They sent replacements and now the drawer keeps falling on my knees when ever I open it. Finally just pulled it out because it scraped me pretty bad. The maintenance man at my condo measured and the pre-drilled holes under the table that support the drawer is too wide. All of this money for a desk that I can't put a drawer into. Once I unboxed the delivery, the desk top was badly damaged. Huge crack across the middle. If it was on the bottom that you can't see, I wouldn't have cared but it's right on the top facing side. Amazon made the return process simple but when I thought about ordering again and hoping to have better luck, the price had gone up about $40. Not going to pay more because I had to return it so I'm definitely done with this seller and product and will be buying something else. Read more
