These are the perfect robes for our evening trips outside to the hot tub. The material is high quality terri cloth, is like an extra thick towel, much much heavier than I expected, but so very cozy.. The medium fits me perfectly, I’m 5’t /140, fits is a little big so it wraps around me nicely and the length hits just below my knees. Same with my husbands size large/exp also fit his 6’3’ 200lbs, perfectly. For me these would be too heavy and warm for an everyday robe, but for the hot tub, or out of a bath, they are perfect. My husband gave me this robe as a gift for my birthday. It is absolutely luxurious! The cotton is very soft, and very thick. It’s a nice heavy weight and it hangs down just above my ankles. I ordered this as a replacement for a “vintage” Cypress robe that I have had for 20++ years. This one was super soft and appeared to be well made but swallowed me whole. I am 5’3”-5’4” and weigh about 120. I love oversized robes but this was much too large and very heavy. I do chores before getting dressed and would not have been able to function in it. I returned and ordered a different robe on the Monarch website since the one I chose wasn’t sold on Amazon. Before ordering my second robe, I wrote Monarch’s customer service for guidance.
