I have been looking for a good pair of earbuds for a few months now. I have the Steel series arctic earbuds that are 150$, and four others. The Monster earbuds are better than all of them. My SS buds were great but the ANC broke after about a week. Then a month later the transparency feature suddenly made them so quiet they are not worth using. The other pairs are just mid and meh. But these Monsters have deep bass which for me is a must, and they sound fantastic! I am an avid music/podcast listener and gamer. These are perfect for all uses! They feel well made and solid! The case is great and I love the design. All of this to say they are IMO very much worth the price! I got them on a deep discount but if I had to pay Full price I would not feel ripped off like the SS arctic buds. Highly recomend! Only issue was the ear pads were too small and I had to use some from a different pair. But I have big ears lol! Once I used different pads they sound just like I had hoped. Read more

I'm a mid grade earbud buyer and these are pretty darn good, got them for a great price for cyber Monday (close to half off) they replaced my higher end series of JBL's. The sound quality is better than the JBL vibe 100 by far. The only trade off is the volume does not get as high as the JBL's. The monsters could be a bit louder, the JBL's at full blast are too loud to tolerate to where the monsters at full blast are just nowhere near as loud. The sound quality is the key, the monsters are hands down better between lows mids and hi. The range and crystal clear sound outweighs making your ears bleed. I also thing the charging case on the monsters is a MUCH better design. Overall 5* but to be honest if I paid sticker price as opposed to half off I would be disappointed and it would fall to 3*. Been knowing about monster brand since highschool (2010) always wanted a pair but never seem to afford it. Yes later I came across them again. And this I got them. And it is definitely well worth it brand and quality. Usually prefer the bigger ear piece but had to switch to the smaller ones due to the big ones hurting my ears. I got them as a gift to my girlfriend and These earbuds have a really attractive design. The rotating tube-style packaging is eye-catching, and the circular light on each earbud looks cool, especially at the gym. Sound quality is surprisingly good for the price—strong bass, nice highs, and overall enjoyable audio. The mids can get slightly overshadowed when a track is very bass-heavy, but considering the cost, they still deliver impressive sound. There’s no companion app to customize settings or check battery percentage, so you have to rely on the four LED indicators that light up when you insert or remove the earbuds. Battery life is average: about 3–4 hours at high volume, and up to around 5 hours at moderate levels. The case looks nice but doesn’t feel very premium, which is understandable at this price point. The included ear tips are quite stiff—I had to swap them out for softer ones from another pair because they caused itching. They sound great on Android devices, but on iPhone there are synchronization issues. Sometimes one earbud cuts out, or audio becomes crackly, delayed, or out of sync when watching videos. The latency gradually increases until it jumps and skips part of the audio to resync. The microphone is the weakest point. In a quiet place, calls are okay, but in noisy environments the noise cancellation actually makes things worse by picking up distant sounds and lowering your voice. In a café, the person on the other end could hear nearby conversations more than me, and my voice would cut out. They’re not bad earbuds overall, but I eventually gave my girlfriend a Baseus Bass BP1 NC Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling pair because I couldn’t reliably talk to her using these when there was background noise. Originally bought these ear buds for my mom for a Christmas present, she ended up getting a new pair for herself before Xmas. I was going to return them but decided to keep them as a backup pair for myself and I'm glad I did. The battery life is awesome, sound is great, and the best part is they actually stay in my ears! Monster emailed me about a 3 star review of these a few years ago. When I wasn't willing to do so, the rep said their pay would be docked for low reviews. Not surprised by the possibility, I went along with it - not gonna have an employee take the hit for a sketchy company. There was no mention of not being able to review again at a later date so here I am, 3 years later, to point out the horribly unethical approach made by Monster.
