The worst Milestone supercross game yet

Milestone definitely changed things up for this latest release and it's not for the better. The physics and overall feel of the riding leaves a lot to be desired. A lot of times it feels like you're riding on ice, especially in the corners. To turn sharply you need to push the left and right sticks in opposite directions which is counter-intuitive in my opinion. I was really looking forward to this game and really wanted to like it but honestly I wish I could return it, it's not fun and I can't see myself playing it any further. I'd rather play Supercross 6 instead of this. Read more

Great game!

Great game. I play it arcade style vs simulation. I can ride a real motorcycle and I own a few so I don't care if the controls dont feel like I'm "riding" a real dirtbike. Career mode is revamped and better than last the game! I love it! Read more

Great game, but keep in mind some things

I've only owned the game for a couple days and I'm already liking it. Reading some of the other reviews for this game, I will agree with some of the things that they say about it. I did want to try and help out those who are looking into this game. A couple things you might want to keep in mind is that this game is a "Racing Simulator", which means that it is designed to not be a simple arcade game like MX vs ATV. As a developer myself, I see the design as a way to help the players get into the game, which may not be what everyone likes, as some players like to have a challenge and others prefer a casual gaming experience. There's no shame in using the different assists from the get-go, in fact, you can play the game on the "Very-Easy" difficulty with all the assists enabled and still have fun. The point, eventually, is to start turning them off as soon as you get comfortable and/or you're constantly having 40+ second leads in each race. I've found that taking advantage of practice mode to practice things like cornering is a great way to overcome the "icy" feeling of turning. Using both sticks on the controller can be a challenge, but you can turn on steering assists to help compensate while getting used to it. Throttle assist is great if you are trying to figure out the best way to use the throttle, if you're used to racing games where you pull the throttle in completely. The point being is that many of these issues can be fixed by simply letting the game handle them in the beginning, then later turning them off once you've mastered them with the assists. Game assists and difficulties are there so each player can enjoy the same game the way they want to and feel accomplished while doing so. Against other players I'd probably get last each time, but in my own little offline racing world, I'm the rookie sensation. I would also like to add to PS5 users; I'd suggest turning off the controller trigger effect, as it will tire your hands out really fast, even on the dualsense edge controllers where you can adjust how far you need to pull the triggers.
