Montana West keeps making hit after hit in the handbag game. I am not a college fan, the only reason I selected this bag is because of the initial on the front. I will tell you, these things are so dang cute and super useful. First I want to mention that this is small. This is a bag you can put in a bag. Meant for only the campus essentials, the way this bag is put together is so nice. I absolutely love this color of red. The sling on the back can be switched to either side depending on preference. The very front pocket is not zippered and ideal for cell phone or smaller water bottle. The pocket behind it, being zippered, is just an open area "catch all" type pouch. There is nothing else in there, making it great for small notebooks, pens, snacks or anything you can deal with loosely. The third zippered. main pouch, has a mesh pocket inside for items you want to stay put. The very back of the bag has a small zippered section and this is so cool. There is a fabric pocket tucked inside the back zippered pocket! It lines the inside and can be folded outside of the zipper to access the inside. I love that! Everything I have ever received from Montana West has been an absolute yes. They craft such quality bags that I cant see myself really sticking to another manufacturer. The media could not be loaded. My daughter, who has Type 1 diabetes, absolutely loves this bag. We actually live in California and have never even been to North Carolina, but she fell in love with the color and style right away. That alone says a lot, because she is 11 years old, very picky, and usually hard to buy for. What makes this bag so nice for us is that it works really well for carrying her diabetic gear. She can fit things like her pump charger, emergency supplies, and other daily essentials without it feeling too bulky. It has been a great size for keeping her important items together while still being easy and comfortable for her to carry. I also like that it feels like one of those bags kids actually want to use, instead of something that feels too plain or medical. That makes a big difference. When a kid truly likes the bag, they are a lot more likely to keep their important things with them, and that has been a big plus for us. So far, we are very happy with it, and I highly recommend these bags for kids. My daughter really seems to have fallen in love with this one, which is not always easy to pull off.
