Honestly, in my 47 years here on this planet, this is by far the best cologne I have ever let pass into my nose! Before I was wearing some Polo Blue for years. One day out shopping, I had some guy loading up a purchase from the hardware store, I stopped him and said "what are you wearing man", I need to know. LOL I'm sure he was thinking, what is this guy smelling me for? LOL It smelled amazing, I pressed my wife to even tell me, doesn't it smell amazing? She said yes and I've been wearing it for many years, this was back in 2013 when I made my first purchase. It's great and women absolutely love it, I can't even express to you how great it really smells. It's like Victoria told her secret of what women want! I've sampled a lot of different colognes, and I get nothing but compliments on this one - It's not soapy, it doesn't have any of the "baby powder" smell that I hate, it's not overly strong like Polo - it smells.. classy. There's really only one reason for a four-star vs. a five-star rating: Compared to some other colognes, like Polo, this doesn't quite have the "staying power". It doesn't sit real heavy, nor does it seem to last all day and night. For this reason, if you are used to wearing something that everybody can smell coming all day, you would probably be disappointed. This is a more subtle scent, and won't announce your presence when you enter a room - even with several sprays in the a.m., it really won't last all day, unless you get close. It doesn't completely disappear, but she'll have to get into your personal space to smell it - which isn't a bad thing. Some guys might feel like, since this isn't one of the cheaper colognes out there, that if it doesn't stink up the room, they're not getting a good value. Personally, I think it's a great value (if you don't pay $72/bottle MSRP) and lasts a very long time. My first bottle in this 3.3 oz size lasted 8 months. Not too shabby. Plus, I'm not into stinking up the room. If you're looking for a really great scent that isn't fruity, isn't musky, isn't soapy, and has no baby powder odor, this is an excellent choice. As always, try before you buy. Hit up the cologne counter at a local store and try it out - everybody's taste is different. Just be advised that this is not a heavy or long-lasting cologne.
