This mirror is very lightweight, which is both good and bad for babies learning to stand. It's good because when they pull themselves up, if it falls, it isn't really going to hurt, but that is also why it's bad.. they can't really pull themselves up without it falling over. We finagled it in such a way where it doesn't happen when our son uses it to stand, but I would recommend mounting it on the wall if you are able to. Unfortunately we wanted it for his play area, which isn't around any walls, so mounting it wasn't really an option right now. I got it specifically so it could sit on the ground in his play area. It works for us, but please beware that it isn't heavy and might need weighted down if you're using it for your little ones to pull up with! He also isn't spacially aware yet, obviously, so sometimes when he's sat in front of the mirror, he bonks his head on the bar. I would suggest getting some sort of bumper barriers you would typically get for edges of tables and put that on the bar if you can. Other than that, the mirror quality is great and my baby really enjoys it! Read more
I thought it would be a little taller, but it has worked out wonderfully. Also when she gets taller we will convert to a tall mirror for her. She loves a mirror and this has been a plus to have. Read more
Purchased to motivate 3 month old to stay up longer for tummy time and definitely works for that. The cards that come with it have come in very handy and are very high quality. It is easy to put together, only took about 5 mins. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the handle split when putting it together so I am nervous to have baby using it to pull up and hold onto once old enough. Read more
It’s so cute and looks perfect in the playroom Read more
Item is of generally good quality and shipped quickly but listing is inaccurate. Size is more than a foot smaller than stated (see photo- full width with feet included is only 32”) and there are only 3 pull up bar height options not 5- likely due to the item’s considerably smaller size. Read more
I wanted to try this for my nephew who’s in the age range of this. I really liked it but thought it could use a few improvements. It’s decent quality but the wood was split on the back side. It’s not noticeable from the front. It includes the mounting hardware and instructions. I had no trouble mounting it and did it in about 10 minutes. I really like the size of the whole thing because it’s not huge but big enough for my nephew to see himself and play. I like that it’s adjustable and the grab bar can be raised as he grows and that it can stand up and be used as a whole body mirror as he gets older. I thought it was kind of plain so I plan on painting it to match his room. The wood looks like it would paint over easily. This is great for personalization and customization. All in all I would recommend it especially for crafty people who like to paint and decorate their stuff. The mirror is also good quality and doesn’t distort. Read more
This Montessori Mirror with the adjustable bar is a great item to have in your living room, play room, or baby room because of the hours of entertainment and enjoyment it can bring. The Mirror is a good size and can be used either on its side longways with the bar attached or standing straight up without the bar. The Mirror was very easy to assemble and the directions were easy to follow with quality durable material. Overall I recommend this as a great option for a kids/baby mirror as you can see from the pictures of my daughter enjoying the Mirror. Read more
My baby is a bit skeptical of this setup, but it has helped him in playtime and with the standing function. When this is built as a self standing version, it can be a bit wobbly for him pulling up on it, so I have to always watch him closely to make sure he doesn't pull it onto himself which can be a safety concern. It has the ability to mount it to the wall which if I had a wall space dedicated to this, then it would be perfect with that safety issue eliminated. But I do not have that wall space and I got this because of the free standing capability. The wood and quality of materials is good and it wasn't very difficult to setup. The mirror is easy enough to clean and the bar is solidly in place and does not rotate. Do not forget to put on the rings before screwing in the bar as they do not snap on. The unit is larger than others which I appreciated and it isn't too large to use anywhere in the house, so I think sizing is just right for me. I think it is quite overpriced for what it is and would be much more willing to recommend it at about $60 which is half the price currently. Read more
