It doesn’t seem like it should matter what training underwear looks like, but as a third time mama who isn’t new to the potty training rodeo, I will say that it absolutely DOES matter to those little ones who are being trained what the patterns and prints are! I love how this set comes with ten different adorable prints to keep it fun and exciting for little ones. If they dislike one or two of them and have a dramatic moment, it doesn’t matter because there’s such a variety to choose from! In the past, I have had a hard time finding affordable training pants that are nice and thick like these with a good, strong hold capacity. While training pants like this are not the same as diapers, obviously I want them to hold more than typical thin undies so there isn’t an unsanitary mess all over my floor. The value for these is great, as the ones I typically buy are more expensive for only half the number of pairs. As someone who prioritizes natural, organic materials for my kids, I was a little hesitant in ordering these because they do have a polyester lining and aren’t organic like the ones we typically use. With that said, I was pleased with these. They didn’t have any sort of toxic smell to them, and the polyester doesn’t sit against my child’s body; there’s thick cotton sewn over the absorbent polyester layer. The material is very soft and comfortable for my child. The sizing seems consistent with other clothing and underwear brands, true to size or maybe a tad large, but that’s actually awesome because you can then dry them in the dryer without worrying about shrinkage. I ordered these baby cotton training underwear for my 5 year old son. Yes he's 5 and not yet potty trained- he's my youngest and my two older girls both were out of diapers by 2/3 years old with basically zero training on my part so this is new territory for me. I'm very glad these come in larger sizes since he's a big boy too. I ordered the size 6t and they just fit perfectly. He's been in the same style since he was 2 years old as he would wear them over his diaper, the extra padding was perfect for leaks, and the cotton stretches a bit with wear, which is why he got away with wearing them for so long, therefore I'm not too worried about these being too small in the near future. And hopefully they won't be worn with pull ups for much longer anyway lol. Overall these are very well constructed, thick cotton, quality training underwear for little kids. The padding isn't so thick as to be bothersome for littles, but it is enough to provide some extra absorbency to prevent leaking. They washed well and his are the only clothing in the house that gets put in the machine dryer, so they did shrink a little but it also added some softness, which is preferable for that still sensitive, baby skin. The patterns were definitely a hit with him, he loved the construction print that reminded him of one of his favorite shows, as well as the cars and dinos. Definitely a good value pack as you get 10 pairs, so we will always have clean ones on hand if needed. Highly recommended for the quality of the cotton, thick padding and amount you get. I bought the 2T size for my daughter, and she’s 15 months old — it fits her well. She doesn’t like wearing diapers, but she’s more willing to wear these training underwear, especially because she likes the cute patterns. She’s not using the potty yet, so she does pee in them quite often. They can hold a few small accidents, which is helpful, but if it’s a bigger amount, they won’t fully contain it. Read more

The very first thing I noticed about these is that they are decently thick compares to others, particularly in the padded portion. Still much less than an actual diaper. Think the difference between a panty liner and a thin pad. Similar but one is definitely thicker. Because of the thickness, they are still warmer. They are also noticibly soft. Definitely has that soft cotton feel for the main fabric. The cut of the underwear is also notably different from most others we have used. I do notice that my daughter is having a little issue getting used to the leg opening. I'm not sure if it's the elasticity or that it is also a tad thicker there than what she has used. It does seem like over time it is bothering her less, so I think that is just a personal adjustment thing. The underwear also run really high waisted. I can see that part being beneficial for certain times ( ie napping on stomach and have a small accident), but it also can show a bit through some outfits. It's not really a flaw, just something to be mindful of. The sizing seems to be spot on. My kid probably would fit the 3T perfectly right now, but I wanted to be able to have some longer use so we tried sizing to 4T. It still works, but do notice how there is some room to grow. I LOVE these training underwear! They have been by far the BEST I've found for potty training my little one. The designs are really cute and I love that they come in a 10 pack because accidents happen and it's nice to have more just in case without breaking the bank. Comparing the boys to the girls underwear, the dimensions are the same which is nice. My little girl loves vehicles so she's able to wear either the boys or girls without it being a different fit. They wash well and don't fade after numerous washes. I feel that they also hold a lot of pee when my little one has an accident so they don't always pee through to the pants. Read more
