New favorite jacket
Initial thoughts: This jacket is amaze-balls. The quality and attention to detail are superb. If you think it looks great in these photos, you'll be blown away when you pull it out of the box. It is also much heavier than I expected. You could torture small children with this thing! I definitely don't recommend it though. Fit: I am 5'4", 130 lbs, slim/athletic build. I ordered a small. In some brands I am swimming in a men's small. I would have ordered the XS had it been available with the specs I wanted. Glad I ordered the small. It is a bit tight in the arms and shoulders. Not an issue for me because I like my clothes to fit on the slimmer side. The chest does open up a bit (tiny bit), but not significant enough to be able to wear several layers underneath. The jacket fits a little long, especially the arms, but not enough to look like an idiot. I am on the short side so I expected this. Overall, this jacket fits me almost perfectly. Wrap up: Extremely happy with the purchase of this jacket. I should mention that I did not pay full price. The size/color combination I chose was discounted quite a bit. The discounted price is what ultimately made me choose this jacket over other considerations from Canada Goose, Mackage, Fjällräven, and a few others. Read more
