True to size

Great pants, the fit is probably true to size or even a little big. I went with other reviewers saying to size up and they are definitely too big. I am generally a size 4 in pants, so I went with a size 6 and probably could’ve sized down to a 2 if they sold that with how there is an adjustable elastic waist. The legs are very wide and then flare out so you can fit layers underneath if you size up though! Will definitely be durable and warm outside and I love how they look! Zipper pockets are a great feature. Read more

Amazing! My new favorite!

I love these pants! Extremely soft, ultra comfortable, true to size, and stylish. Most importantly, I was impressed with the overall functionality and versatility being outside in extreme cold temperatures! Plus, the option to purchase a shorter inseam is spot on! Read more

SIZE UP

Great pants! I used them on our recent ski trip where it was "feels like 4 degrees." I stayed warm and dry! I am 5.9' and about 148 lbs. I usually wear a size 6, but after reading reviews I ordered an 8 and a 10. I ended up keeping the 10 to allow for layers under the pants. Like others have said, there isn't much stretch and it is slim in the thigh area. The waist was big on me, but i used a belt. Read more

Awesome midrange cold weather pants!

Honestly, if you want to stay warm, get a bigger size of these. Nothing skin tight will keep you warm. But If you want to look hot, go down a size and freeze your thighs and bottom. I ordered my normal size and while they fit nicely around the waist, they were a bit baggy elsewhere which I was fine with. They’re snow pants. I have no one to impress while playing in the snow with my kids. Anyway, they are super water proof. While my bottom got a little cold from sitting in a cold, plastic sled, I was still completely dry underneath. It was 27 degrees that day. Super comfortable. I can move effortlessly with these on. Also, despite the saggy bottom and knee areas, they still are stinking awesome looking. Definitely still need to wear cuddle duds underneath, or anything insulating. I feel like they will last me a long time. From experience, I’d say these are midrange cold weather pants, and I’d recommend them based off that scale. Read more

Impressed & Disappointed

I want to love these pants so bad but there’s a few things stopping me before I can even test them in the snow and on a board. The good: They fit soo nicely; the waistband is great because it’s adjustable. Gives great rounded appearance from behind. No gaps in the back or crack showing when bending over. The pockets are real, deep, USEFUL, and plentiful (zipper & Velcro.) The length is perfect, ankle unzips more to fit a snow boot. They’re warm with the inner lining. Pocket is lined. There’s belt loops just in case. Now, the bad: Outside is great, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. This inside brings an otherwise great pant down. There’s so much action happening around the inner thigh crotch area. The horizontal seam around both pant legs on the thigh is THICK! I can’t get past it. It doesn’t smooth down, there’s nothing covering it, and you can feel it when you walk (even when you talk) it takes over. For an otherwise breathable and lightly stretchy pant, again the inner thigh/crotch area has zero give. It fits even tighter, making you question if you should go up a size or risk a peek-a-boo moment. Squat wrong, gives the impression you’ll rip a seam. The two hip pockets, the inner pouch corner is thick and the corners, again, come into the crotch area on both sides. There’s just so much focus in this area. It hurts to send these back. They’re just well thought out. But I have a love-hate relationship with them. Size S, 5,4 or 5,5 150lb on a good day, for ref. Read more

Survival Tested & Totally Cozy!

I recently took the Moosehill Women’s Snow Ski Pants out for a spin, and let me tell you, they are absolute lifesavers! If you’re a beginner, or, if like me you spend more time sitting or laying on the slopes from crashing lol, these are the pants you want. Serious Durability: I spent a lot of time sitting and laying in the snow because, well, I was falling quite a bit! I was worried about them ripping or soaking through, but these pants handled the friction and the moisture like a pro. They still look brand new. Incredible Warmth: Even with all that time spent directly against the cold snow, I stayed super warm. The insulation is top-notch without feeling like I’m wearing a heavy spacesuit. Perfect Length & Fit: Finding the right length can be tricky, but these were spot on, especially because I am pretty tall (5'7") The bootcut option is a total win—there was plenty of room to fit comfortably over my ski boots without any bunching or struggling, and no high waters! Dry & Protected: Despite my frequent "snow naps" from falling, I stayed perfectly dry. The moisture barrier is really impressive. Whether you're a pro or, like me, spending half the day on your backside, these pants are exceptionally well-made. I highly recommend them for your next mountain trip! Read more

ATTENTION CURVY GIRLS… look elsewhere

These pants are adorable, and I wanted them to work so bad, but the sizing is absolutely not it. I normally wear a size 6 and even sized up to an 8 for winter weight… couldn’t get them past my thighs. Tried a 12 and then a 14 (yes, a FOURTEEN). The 12 wouldn’t go up at all, and while the 14 technically made it on, it was still uncomfortably tight in the thighs while being comically loose in the waist. If you’re slim thick, have a booty, or any kind of thighs… don’t bother. These are clearly not made for this body type, which is a shame because they’re so cute. I’m mad about it. Read more
