I've used the same/similar morakniv's since being gifted one during a desert survival course in college. Especially considering the process, this knife does everything you need and then some. Not only are they an incredible price, they're also easy to hold/carry, TOUGH. and multipurpose (understatement) Back in they, I kept a handful always with my stored gear in case I lost or ruined one. Well, I've never ruined one and I do not treat them them gently to say the least...good for everything rom splitting wood in the wild to cutting vegetables to using for simple home things you want a tough blade for that you don't have to coddle. I've used them for gifts to survival course students and friends over the years, and they've often thanked me years later! I've never used the nicer pricier ones, have never felt the need to improve on an already-good thing. Read more
Very sharp, holds edge for long time. Easy to sharpen when needed. Positive lock on sheath. Used to skin and process 2 deer this fall. Like the color - easy to find when set down. Read more
I bought this knife after seeing it on a video on YouTube about Essential Camping Tools. It is very sharp and very heavy duty for a $20 knife. I used it to sharpen a stick for marshmallow roasting, shaving chips off firewood to use for starter, then diced tomato, onion and peppers for homemade salsa. It kept a nice edge! The sheath has a belt clip that fits nicely on my pack strap without ever slipping. The knife sort of snaps into the sheath and I did not have problems with falling out. The whole thing weighs less than 1/2 pound and is about 8 inches long. I intend to keep this knife with my camping/hiking gear and buy another one for my potting shed. Great knife. Read more

I spent a good bit of time reading camping and hiking forums and this knife was one of the most highly recommended. It’s sharp, strong, lightweight, and travels well on the included belt clip or in a pack. The grip is comfy and it has made short work of everything from cutting paracord to spreading peanut butter. Far exceeded my expectations for such a low-priced knife. Read more
