PICTURE IS DECEPTIVE . CUP IS ONLY 5 OZ. A CUP IS SUPPOSED TO BE 8 OZ NOT 5. THIS IS ONLY GOOD FOR A CAPPUCCINO MACHINE. VERY POOR LY WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS. DOESN'T EVEN TELL HOW TO REMOVE THE REUSABLE FILTER. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TURN THE SPOUT BUT IT DOESN'T EVEN TELL YOU THAT IN THE DIRECTIONS. IT IS AN MINIATURE COFFEEPOT AND GREAT TO GIVE TO YOUR KIDS TO PRETEND TO MAKE COFFEE .IT IS NOT PRACTICAL FOR MAKING A MUG OR EVEN A FULL 8 OZ CUP (IT WON;T FIT) Read more
Work really well... but makes a really small cup of coffee. Read more
I just returned from a 3 week visit to the Quito area and the Galapagos Islands, and this little coffee maker absolutely rocked the Casbah! Very light and took up a small amount of space in my suitcase, so that was a huge plus. It is a little tricky getting the thing full of water, and then being precise about how much coffee you could put in the included filter so you didn't get a ton of spillage of coffee grounds into the little cup...and you needed a slightly coarser grind (like just your typical Maxwell House ground...bring it with you!), but once those little niggles were figured out, it made a super legit cup of coffee for those of us super-desperate in the morning for that first cup. Especially on the Galapagos Islands, coffee shops don't open early in the morning, so this thing ruled!! Down there they also have super blends of "Nescafe" crystals so you can just use the coffee pot as a hot water maker, and add those crystals. Really very good stuff! So if you get one, and I recommend you do, try it out for sure at home so you have your process in the bag before you leave...then put this in your bag! You will not regret it. I will now put it away in a safe place for my next trip! For this crazy cheap price, you can't beat it. I tried several other versions, even thought of bringing a small Keurig, but none were even close to the small footprint of this thing!! They all were returned, and this one won the battle of small coffee makers!! Read more
I wish I can give it 0 Stars. This product does not even deserve one star. The coffee grounds flows into the cup, and the cups are so small. When brewing, both cups have to be use. This is not worth the money I paid. Coffee is warm, brew speed is slow. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Read more
This is so much smaller than I thought it would be. The cup is about 4 OZ and a regular coffee cup will not fit on the machine. It does say its 4 oz, but I guess I just didn't realize how very small a cup that is. It leaks and the coffee is brewed so fast that it comes out weak. I used more coffee in the machine to trying to make a stronger brew, but it still came out too weak. It is also hard to pour the water in the small tank with the little cup that goes with it. I took it to work, but have only actually used it 3 times because it is not even one regular cup of coffee and seems too much of a hassle for so little & weak a brew. It functions, but takes a lot to get used to and I would not buy another one. I still keep it at work since its small enough to not take up too much space and will make a very small cup of coffee if I really need one. Read more
I like that this machine is small. It accommodates a 4” cup, although it already comes with two small demitasse cups. It heats water well & makes good coffee. I make mine strong. A few precautions: -make sure the machine button is on off before filling with water; otherwise it will drain immediately. -the machine doesn’t turn off on it’s own. -the machine does not turn on again immediately after it’s first use, it may need to cool down before it’s started up again. -do not open the lid while the machine is on & especially not right after it’s been in use…the hot water & vapor splatter. -do not over fill the container. -I place the machine upside down in the sink to drain out any settling of water. My next step is to see how long the machine will last. I hope this helps. Thanks. Read more
I LOVE how tiny this micro coffee maker is and extremely portable!! It actually makes very hot and good tasting coffee. BUT a lot of coffee grains will be in your cup. I’m gonna try using a paper filter with the filter that came with to see if this fixes the problem. I would’ve given 5 stars had it not been for this issue. If you are looking for a regular sized coffee mug then this one isn’t for you. It’s more of an expresso shot size. I would definitely purchase this again. I will be taking this to work with me as to buying multiple cups of coffee as I work 12 hour shifts!!💕💕 UPDATE..🤩So after purchasing the paper k cup filters to place in the included plastic filter, that did the trick. No more coffee grains in my coffee and the coffee is hot and cooked to perfection as any but more expensive coffee makers make. My first updated review ever. Great gift idea and I get so many compliments on the cute little coffee mug. Apparently same size used in Europe lol. Read more
