Update: I have now used this device to jump a newer vehicle. It worked immediately!😊 The headlights on my vehicle started flashing, and the interior dashboard and other lights came on. It only took one turn of the ignition to start it up. (I did not have the key in the ignition when I jumped it, and I had plenty of time to start it.) I am very happy with this device!😊 It came charged at 80 percent and I had charged it to 100 about a month ago, and it was still at 100. It immediately gave me a current voltage reading on my battery (3.6), and brought my vehicle up to 14.6, I believe it was. It was easy to use, and the clamps were easy to get on the respective charging points. I did not put the negative connection directly on the battery as I have a Battery Management System (BMS), but instead, put it on a nearby bolt. I also like how everything is easy to see and read on the front of this device. The emergency lights are also a big plus, as you never know when you might need them. They are bright, too! I also really appreciate the carrying case, and the wall adaptor. Thank you, Mostool for your thoughtfulness!😊 If I could change anything about the carrying case, it would be to put a protective divider cover over the battery side, and to enclose the other side entirely with the material already being used, and put a zipper at the top. For what it's worth, I do not leave my Mostool in my vehicle, which is kept in a garage, but instead, keep it in my house. I will never go any distance without it again.😊 It works! It gives me a feeling of empowerment and confidence.😊 Original Post: I haven't used this yet, but I am very impressed with it so far. It comes in a nice, hard, zipperd case with everything you need, to include a wall charger. There is a user manual, instructions on the box, and even on the back of the charger. We had a polar vortex hit our area which caused my truck battery to drain. I easily hooked up this unit to my battery and my truck started in a few moments. Luckily, I was at my house at the time, but it could have been a lot worst if it had occurred while I was offsite. I now make sure that my unit is charged and in my truck at all times. I bought this after being so desperate that my car won't start. I needed security that I can jump start my car before my car service appointment. The delivery was fast. It came in the next day. I read the manual and tried to learn how to do it so fast as I needed the car for work. I have a 2016 Subaru Forester. The battery went dead after 9 years with only 22,400+ miles on it. I learned that not driving the car at least 30 minutes regularly with a highway speed would drain the battery and short trips only can drain it as well. I have used this for the first time. It is easy to use. I was so nervous at first. After watching few videos from youtube and following the directions on the device as well, I did it! Now I do not get nervous at all. If you just love hauling a set of cables in your car and hoping all the logistics line up when you need a jump, then this is not the product for you! I first saw a man jump his ginormus diesel truck with a small box an two tiny little cables. Impressive to say the least! I have not had to use this on my vehicle yet. I have used it multiple times to help others stranded since buying. I carry it in the car, when we travel and in the boat. Its easy to use. Took me a time or two before I didnt have to depend on looking at the quick start instructions. I was impressed with the packaging and quality if the case. Easy to store and take. I like that it has charging ports for tech devices and the flashlight came in handy when jumping a vehicle at night. It is a quality product for the money. I never knew I needed this until my jumper cables were missing. It is great to keep a charged Jump Starter in the car. I purchased this unit because of good reviews. Well, this jump starter will not jump start a cricket! Delivered to me on Jan 2 of 2026, I took it out of the box and fully charged it before use. I have not been able to jump start anything! We tried it on a truck, car, and lawn tractors. NOTHING! We contacted customer service, sent videos as requested and we are being told that they don’t see a problem. Videos clearly show that the unit is powered up and providing no discharge power!
