GREAT!

I LOVE wearing skinny works pants but my pre pregnancy ones are pull on and we all know that ins't gonna work with a big ol belly. I had trouble finding maternity skinny pants like these at a decent price and I was very excited to find these. They're great and I wear them almost every day (that I'm not wearing leggings!!!) I ordered my pre pregnancy size and they fit well in my legs, although they are a bit large around my waist. I do end up pulling them up quite a bit, but with a tighter shirt on, they stay up better. Overall, I really like the look of these and they are very comfortable. I do wish the belly band was a bit tighter but I'm sure they will fit better as I get larger. I am 28 weeks now. I would for sure recommend these and I would say order your pre pregnancy size. I think if I sized down, they would be too tight on my legs and look more like leggings. Hope this helps! Read more

Comfortable, work appropriate pants

Was extremely happy with this purchase. It has been difficult to find appropriate maternity work pants. Everything I was seeing in stores were more leggings and not work pants. These fit as expected. For reference I’m 5’ even and pre pregnancy weight was roughly 115/120 lbs. I’m 24 weeks pregnant and the small fit comfortably. My current weight is at 140 lbs. I do feel like there is plenty of room for my growing bump. The elastic goes high which I am finding I prefer so it doesn’t look all bunched up under more fitted tops. They are a stretchy material which is nice. Have a nice skinny pant fit without being constricted. Ordered the black and just ordered a pair in khaki. Totally work appropriate for an office environment. Will most likely order another pair or 2 to last me the rest of my pregnancy. Price is decent for not wanting to spend a lot of money on clothes I’ll only need for a few more months. Do have that stitching down the back of the legs, but it’s not the worst thing in the world. Fit like ponte pants

When I first tried these on they were a bit loose, but I was okay with that because I purposefully ordered up a size. I was hoping for a dress pant fit (which is what I got). Unfortunately after washing they are more of a modern ponte fit. Please expect these to shrink a bit after washing. If you're hesitant about the size, go up. Dislikes: - Seam in back - there is a seam in the back of the leg that goes all the way up to the fake pocket. This is in addition to both side seams. I don't dislike the look, but you can feel it when you sit and walk. - Fake pockets - why do companies do this to you? Either put them on, or leave them off, don't tease us with what could have been. These have fake front and back pockets. The back pockets even have a little flap, so you totally think they're real until you can't get into them. I thought maybe they were just sewn shut like they sometimes are on dress pants, but nope. Total let down. - Low belly panel - like super low. Again I don't hate this, it's just weird. It goes to the very top of my pubic bone. This is my first pair of Motherhood pants, so maybe they are just made this way? My Lilac Maternity jeans are a good couple inches higher. Likes: - Belly panel is super stretchy - I bought these for my second trimester, but I have no doubt the panel will fit my entire pregnancy. I've got a tiny belly right now, so as long as the rest of me doesn't grow, I look forward to wearing these until delivery. - Fabric - I was half expecting legging material, but this is a nice thick ponte like material. There is no way anybody will see through them, and they are warm enough for me to wear during winter. In fact, I have it paired with my favorite tunic sweater right now. All in all, I like these pants. The fit isn't what I was going for, but they still fit nice. If the other colors drop to as cheap as I got this pair, I'll order them, but otherwise I'll look for something else. I don't expect to wear them as often as my jeans, but I'll grab them when I'm looking for something a bit nicer. Read more

The best and most comfortable maternity pants for work. I was so nervous buying these after reading the mixed reviews but I’m glad I did. Very affordable and spectacular. Read more

Polyester

The material is terrible. It is crappy polyester shiny, uncomfortable. The top was tight on my belly. These are cheaply made. Read more

Comfy, but very poor durability

These were stretchy and comfortable with good support. However, they weren’t ankle length (they were full length) and today, having worn them 1-2x per week for the last 2 months, they have a hole in the back pocket. As others have mentioned, the seams develop a look of elastic fraying also. I still have 3 more months to go, so it’s a bummer they didn’t last longer. Read more

Don't settle for other brands!!!

I am 5'6", around 120 pounds pre-pregnancy weight. I'm now in the 8th month, 145 pounds and gaining fast. big baby bump! I ordered the Medium in fear that the small would be too tight. Additionally I ordered a small skinny jeans directly from the motherhood website. These Medium black slacks are perfect on me. not too tight, great fit, look classy and perfect for the wedding event I'm going to. This is my fourth pregnancy, I regret not discovering the motherhood brand 3 pregnancies ago. It's clean cut, classy, doesn't make you feel like an ogre, most importantly it doesn't squeeze your belly. I bought a bunch of pants at Old Navy maternity, basically threw my money away because there was too much pressure on the lower abdomen. These pants I can wear all day, at home as lounge pants because they're comfier than sweat pants. The size small skinny jeans I bought off the website directly also fit great...im wearing them right now, completely in love with them as every day pants. Even though I got a small, they fit great. I'd never be caught dead in skinny jeans before, but these are awesome, breathable, classy, and make me feel great. Read more
