Worked well for me.
Used in a garage- replaced an 8ft 2-tube flourescent fixture. Looking for more and better-distributed light, and motion detection. Both goals accomplished. The only question that remains is longterm durability. Contrary to the experience of some reviewers, for me the motion detection works immediately when we step out of the house into the garage. Beware that if you are replacing a flourescent fixture that you will probably have to install an old-style bulb fixture- an easy job but depending on your comfort level may require an electrician. Hands free light!
Performs well, sensor responds quickly when I enter the room. It is an almost pure white light. Somewhat smaller than other folding shop lights since it only has 3 arms. There are no controls on the unit itself so if you were to lose the remote you would not be able to change the settings. Motion sensor lights have been common in businesses for a long time and in today's economy I can see more and more use for them in the home. Read more

Small Sensor Field
These work fine and ARE bright but here are the negatives: The field for the motion sensor is quite small… about 4-5 feet. You can’t adjust how long the light stays on. It’s on for 60 seconds only. Found one for 25.00 at Loew’s that has a 20 foot range and can be adjusted to stay on longer. Read more

Inexpensive but work great; exceeding my expectation for the price I paid…I’ve purchased this one hoping to replace my existing motion sensor light in my garage; one from Costco…this one, from Costco couple of years ago, sensor wasn’t as sensitive…it really bugged me because often the light don’t turn on when I head out to the garage…but, this one, work really well…and, the light is much more crisp and bright…I am very satisfied and highly recommend.
