I was looking for new rubber mats for my 2013 Honda Civic, and narrowed it down to 2 options from Motor Trend - the AdventureMax Model #MTMT-8203-BK (this item) and the FlexTough Model #OF-793-BK. When they arrived, I compared both - they seem identical in terms of quality and durability (which is to say, good). They're both heavy with moderately thick grooves and decent grips on the back. The shapes and groove patterns are slightly different, though, and I was curious to see which fit my car better. (See comparison photos for differences.) At first glance, I thought these (the AdventureMax) were the clear winner. As you can see from the photo where I laid the car's original floor mats over top, the sizing is generous enough to allow easy trim-to-fit while still providing maximum coverage. However, once I put them in the car, they seemed far TOO generous, and it was clear they'd require a lot of trimming. The FlexTough fit much better and would require less modification. (NOTE: The rubber piece connecting the two backseat floor mats was too long in both models and would need to be cut off.) So I still give this item 5 stars for quality, but probably 3 stars for how it fits in my specific car. For smaller sedans like mine, I'd recommend the FlexTough instead. Read more

These fit my 2018 Elantra well. I needed minimal trimming for the front seat ones. I also poked a hole in the mat for the hooks on the floor that are designed to hold it in place. The back seat matt was too long. I ended up cutting out the middle section and trimming it down to fit. These are not equal to the well know other brand, but then again, that costs 5 times as much. These are super easy to trim to size for your vehicle. They're divided up into little cubes and other shapes with channels through the mat that allow you to take a pair of scissors to cut the mat down. Although an individual pad is easy to cut through for sizing, it doesn't get torn or ripped at all from bits of gravel that end up inside. They're durable, easy to clean, and if I want to take a look under my truck I can throw one down on the ground and rest on those instead of having to lay down on something like gravel. Read more

When cutting to fit, an easy job, these make a really good fit for the front floors of a Toyota Matrix with manual transmission. That driver's side foot rest by the clutch pedal makes finding a good fitting mat troublesome, but the "cutting channels" on these mats allow a near perfect alignment. And the passenger side came out almost as good with very little work. Read more
