Ordered this one to hold a Samsung tablet in an office type setting, basically for a kiosk. It was very easy to assemble and it works just as you'd expect for a tablet stand. Even without screwing it to the counter, it is heavy enough to be very sturdy and won't tip over but remains easy to adjust and turn to the angle you want it. It even looks nice in the office! We purchased two of these for a conference and made the mistake of trying to put them together quickly before the registration started. It does come with some "tools" and minimal instructions, both of which were substandard. But we are good problem solvers, and figured that out. We had to ask the hotel if they had any screwdrivers that we could use, but the ones they had were too big. Fortunately, somebody came along with a multi tool that we were able to employ to finish the job. Read more
These are sturdy, and well made, however the device depth dimension of the holder arms is not .875". The arm that extends and can be locked in place measures about .75" and could accommodate a device that thick, especially because the arm is extended, however the three arms closest to the base that automatically adjust, the clearance is less than half an inch. It was misleading to see the .875" dimension in the pictures, as it will not accommodate a device thicker than about half an inch. Read more
This mount will not fit the Samsung Tab 9+ as advertised. I ordered four. The length and width arms work together, You can't extend the length without shortening the width. Locking mechanism is poorly designed. I will be sending all of them back. Read more
I needed a theft-proof iPad stand for a trade show and selected this one based on good reviews, a good price and what looked like decent construction. All of these points were proven when I received the product. Even better, we were able to easily integrate the iPad stand into a larger TV stand, by removing the base and attaching it directly to the table surface. You absolutely do not need to that, but it worked out great for us. The base is made of steel and it is heavy enough to anchor the whole thing reliably. The tube that holds the mount does double-duty as cable management. The iPad was a tight fit, but it worked out great! Read more
I have this mounted in a karate dojo, and it's held up well to kids pulling on it and adjusting it to their eye levels for entering PIN numbers. It comes with all the mounting hardware you'd need, isn't hard to set up, and it feels sturdy and secure. Works perfectly in our application. Read more
