We ordered the 8’ x 20’ RV rug from Mountain Mat and it looks great outside of our camper. Our campsite was muddy and this mat kept our patio area neat and clean. We were able to leave our shoes outside the door which kept our interior so much cleaner. The design (we chose the gray/white pattern) is a soft color that complements our camping gear and we actually got compliments from the couple camping next to us! The 8x20 came with a really nice gray carry bag – which was big enough to easily hold the rug after you use it (you don’t have to tightly fold the mat – you can let it be a little loose and just stuff it into the bag). We love to be outdoors and get outside whenever we can. We love to camp, go to the park, go to festivals and outdoor events. We love the Mountain Mat because it compliments all of these activities and makes all of them better. The Mat is easy to use, easy to clean, is attractive, and very practical. It is our staging zone for camping set up and our toddler's play zone while on the dirt. It stands out in a very nice way, and so is our meeting zone and protection from wet grass at concerts in the park. It is our quick set up to throw our stuff on when we want to go play in the park (we live in Seattle, the grass is often wet). This Mat does all of these things and is easy to clean and okay with being wet for a day or two if we end up camping in the rain. I have an RV permanently parked for the summers. I have a small deck allowed that is 8'x24' This carpet is nearly perfect. The only problem I've notice that its been outside in the October sun for now and it seems like its fading already. I bought it in 2023, It is now the spring of 2025. I can see its starting to crumble. The plastic that its made from in not standing up to camping chairs being dragged across it. Its definitely faded, and I'm in Ohio. I can't imagine having this carpet further south. I am currently looking to replace it with a different brand. Read more
For a family of 6 with dogs, finding a mat big enough to give everyone space to sit under the Airstream Canopy and off the ground is challenging! This mat provided plenty of ground coverage in front of the door and under the canopy for all the chairs, shoes and dogs. Even on hard ground, the mat Was comfortable to walk or sit on. Most of the sand/dirt sifted through but what was left easily swept off. The included stakes kept it from sliding around. Children fresh out of the water drip dried on the clean mat and then it dried without any fear of a molding carpet. In campgrounds with narrow RV parking places, the folding design of the mat allowed us to easily fold it down to the width we needed to fit our space! The carry bag is good quality with sturdy straps. Ours arrived with a slice down one side that looked like a box cutter mishap. We contacted the sellers and they immediately offered to rectify the situation the situation and send us a new bag. Great company to work with. Read more
