I don’t often write product reviews. However, I am writing to give this tv wall mount the best rating possible. The mount is beautifully engineered, very sturdy, easy to install and priced as an excellent value. I needed a mount to install a 50 inch tv in a 38 inch wide tv cabinet with doors. It works perfectly. The install involved attaching the mount to a plywood reinforcement on the inside of the cabinet and cutting out a portion of the back to allow the tv to be angled into the cabinet and partially protruding out the back. I bought this to mount a TV in the bedroom of a motorhome. This was exactly what I needed to fit it in the location. The mount seems to be built very well. The mount is heavy and the construction is sturdy. It holds the TV where i put it and is easy to move when I need to. The hinges operate smoothly. The mount feels like it will hold quite a bit of weight. I would feel confident putting a heavy TV on it. I feel like it will last a long time. Read more
Works great and pretty sturdy. Fairly long reach which is great because I have it mounted in a corner over a tall dresser. Easy to adjust the position of the TV and tilt. Comes with a few lag bolts for installing into a wall stud, and added washers for added strength. Good. Read more
I'm not sure what I was expecting, as I have never owned something like this before. This thing is HEAVY. REAL HEAVY. There is no way this is ever coming apart. I can see it holding a 65-inch TV easily. It comes with some pretty hefty bolts to lag it into the wall with. I have a piece of 1/2 inch plywood between it and the plaster wall just to be on the safe side. I have a Samsung 34" ultrawide gaming monitor mounted on it. It is very stiff and almost impossible to swing the arms out of the box. The directions show you how and where to shoot a little WD40 so they free up. And yes they did. Nice and easy to swing around. I wasn’t sure what to expect at this price point, but this mount blew me away. It’s built like a tank, solid, heavy-duty, and clearly made to last. Installation was straightforward, and my TV (an AOC model sold elsewhere on Amazon) fit perfectly, with one small exception: the input ports are partially covered by the mounting basket. I had to use a right-angle HDMI adapter to connect the cable, but that was an easy fix. The power plug had enough clearance and plugged in without issue. The mount includes everything you need including a level. The hardware is well-organized and easy to use. Just be aware that this unit doesn’t offer vertical articulation adjustment, so be sure to mount it at the height you want from the start. Once it’s in place, you’re good to go. If you need a strong, no-nonsense wall mount for a heavier TV, this one is a great choice. Highly recommended. Read more
This review is for the MOUNTUP Corner TV Wall Mount 30 inch Long Arm TV Mount. Overall this is a very good mount and I just purchased a 2nd one. It's design allows a TV up to 60" to be rotated 90 degrees from the wall in either direction and anywhere in between. Installation is easy requiring 2 lag bolts into a stud. A template is provided to simplify accurate locations for pre-drilling pilot holes. The VESA mount should cover almost any TV's mounting patterns and the instructions show how to attach the "wings" to the mount to achieve the most common configurations. My only 2 minor complaints are that the first 2 pivot points were VERY tight making adjustment more difficult than I wanted. If you are only positioning the TV once or twice it isn't a big deal, but in my application the TV is going to be rotated a lot depending on where people are viewing the TV from. Loosening the bolts at the joints requires two 8mm and two 6mm allen wrenches which are not included. The bolts are VERY tight (I assume threadlock was applied at the factory) and require a lot of effort to break loose. The second VERY minor complaint is that there is no cover for the mounting plate. Normally the mounting plate would be hidden by the TV, but if you fully rotate the TV 90 degrees from the wall, you can see the mounting. This doesn't bother me at all, but buyers should be aware. I was in the market for a TV wall mount for a 32" LED TV; but I was specifically looking for something specific. This needed to mount to the wall, have multiple ways to manipulate the TV, and have a long reach (this was almost 22" from the wall, were others are closer to 12 to 16 inches). Since this was 32" TV; I was not really worried about the weight. I definitely screwed this into a stud wall (no way would I use wall anchors or take that risk). I was also very flexible in where I needed to put this; as it was part of a Christmas series of gifts for my 18 year old (freshman in college) to put in her room (a Switch 2 and a Roku stick); as she got straight As her first semester and this was her bonus. We did not need to be near a traditional coax cable TV outlet; because the Roku connects via wifi. She has saved me money by going to a University near our house; so she still resides with us. I just made sure to get a little longer HDMI cable; and then used some black zip ties to connect the TV power cable and the Switch HDMI from the TV, and back to the wall. Was easy to work and connect. The only element that didn't seem to have a lot of utility ... was the small level that they sent. I just used a normal 24" level for the vertical positioning. The small level that was sent, did not have a straight forward place to put it as it was crowded on the actual wall plate (created too much space between the plate and the wall). Read more
